Hello everyone. >> Hey everyone. >> Folks, please post in the chat if you can hear us. Okay. If you are able to see us. We just want to check our setup. >> Hello everyone. All right. Okay, looks like setup is good. So, Ben, if you want to come here. So, we have a special guest here today on this session. >> Usually, you see me and Haman on these live streams, but uh how many of you know this person? Uh any guesses? You can post in the chat folks if you know this person. uh you can make a guess. I mean as such we have said this but if you have taken our courses uh he has a special character in our courses. All right. Okay. Can see you live. Great to see you. All right folks. So we have Ba Patel, uh, Vishuanathan, Direendraal, Derek. All right folks, yes, that's the right guess. Bin. Uh, so Bin is here on Bruce Ariali. Yes, that was the answer I was looking for. So folks, we uh scheduled this uh special live stream today. uh we thought we'll just uh have a discussion with you regarding startups. Usually we talk about uh data analytics, data science etc. All that is relevant and we have been discussing those topics a lot. Uh but this time we are doing uh a little bit something different. So Bavin is running this startup community and he's mentoring startups. He has done multiple businesses in his life. And when we were uh going to Rurki for the startup fest, we saw many young entrepreneurs. Okay. So, let me do this. We let me I have put I have put together few slides. So, let me just share those and we'll uh go from there. Okay. So, I'm going to share my screen now. We just share it here. Okay. Share. And let's share screen number one. Folks, let me know if you if you all can see my screen. Okay. Ha. Can you see it? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, yeah. So, I was talking about Bin. So here here we have Bin. He uh runs uh this startup coaching group. We by the way he is also a founder of ATL technologies and he loves to you know guide people in terms of startups and these are not just tech startups it can be any startup food uh agriculture anything and when I was in India we were having discussions on um the startup ecosystem in India and I witnessed uh some part of the startup ecosystem in India when we visited IIT. So this is our picture from our IIT RI visit. They had this entrepreneur summit called e-summit where we met all these birding entrepreneurs and we thought that maybe we can do a live stream where we can guide people uh in terms of uh any questions they may have uh on the startup. So Bin is a founder of ATIC technologies and we'll we'll go in brief about Bin's journey. So Bin you want to talk about your journey and the reason we are doing this is because when people come to us asking for guidance on startup the most important thing that matters is the mindset. So Bavin's uh entrepreneurship journey started from very early age when he was in college and he was doing certain activities which built him for doing something bigger at later stage in his life. So by going over his journey we will all learn the necessary mindset that any buing entrepreneur needs to build in in the very early uh stage of their career. Okay. So Bin you can go ahead. >> Perfect. Okay. Hello everyone. This is Bhavin Naka Bruce Sarali. Glad to have you all over here. Uh so when I was in college I was very passionate about doing um side hustle rather than focusing on the electronic and mechanical subjects being a part being a part of computer and computer science students. uh that led me to focus more on doing some activities. So I started my startup by selling CDs right earlier in 2004 to7. It was a time where people had a very very deeper craze about games and even at that times you know we used to have the DVD. So I I used to sell all those DVDs in 30 to 40 rupees where I had a very thin margin hardly probably worth four to four to five rupees. But what I believe is that was the seed of my entire uh entrepreneurship mindset. So I believe if you want to start anything all you need is a just a mindset. You don't need to go for flashy project report funding and you don't really need to have a great idea. It just you need to start. So I started selling a CD then uh gradually can I mean okay then once uh even when I was in college I also ran a cyber cafe in my village. At that time there was no WhatsApp there was no uh there was no medium to call your your your friends your family who stays in in uh in outside of India. So I was running a small cyber cafe kind of setup where it it is ISP where you can call people through internet. So I was running a cyber cafe cafe 2 and once I was uh I completed my graduation I'm a very uh very passionate about the food so I started a restaurant too. I start I ran a restaurant for 6 to 8 month then again the the staff ran away and I had to shut down that business and then after 9 months I was also juggling I was just scratching my head that what should I do? Then I started training center. So I I started training center in in nearby town where I completed my graduation. So I ran that training center from 2011 to 16 for the five years and then in those five years I was able to uh make a good name into the local market. But then in 2016 uh I came to know that it I I couldn't able to scale the business where it should be. So in 2017 we started at that is a pure software and web development firm >> and I think when you uh shut down this business of training center you had good number of students and revenue correct >> at that time we had on paper we had 238 registered students and 2011 to 16 I hadn't paid single penny for marketing so we were having a very strong monopoly into the marketing in the training center business but then certainly you know you have to pivot your business you have to do self reflect self-reflection about where you want to be and that's a point we decided to move from training center to the IT company right so in uh so again uh in my uh this entire journey so again I I went through very small small startups without funding without any project report without no mentorship. But every startup, every small side hustle I did, it gave me a true lesson about the people mindset. With every project I did, with every things I sold out to the people, I came to know about who will pay what and why. And that led me to the final destiny that is an ATL. And today we are at the age where we know what to sell and how. So do Yeah. So in ATL right now so I'm I'm a co-founder here we started this company as a software development agency and later on uh we pivoted into AI and data services. So we have a team right now we uh have clients mainly from US and UAE. So we have learned a lot from that business too. So that was a just a short uh summary of Burmese journey. Okay. Uh so first thing folks what I have observed in BIN and even in our journey like Hmanan and I when we started core basics uh mindset is most important thing folks tooling knowledge uh experiences you will gain over a period of time but what needs to stay constant is the mindset where you are ready for doing grunt work you are relentless you have get it done attitude you understand human psychology ology and so on. Okay. So I when I go to these meetups Bin uh I remember my days from Bloomberg when uh my friends and people whom I know who are working in job you know they get together or weekend for lunch whatever you know for for a weekend party and everybody talks about startup because startup is very shiny fleshy >> and they say that okay we are doing this job and what if we can be our own boss that that whole idea of becoming your own boss is so shiny but when you ask the same person to put forward the work sometimes they're not able to put that work which is required and I came across this quote from uh Mr. can blanchard and it's a very powerful quote. It says that there is a difference between interest and commitment. So if I go and if I am let's say talking to bunch of people who are employees who are working for some company and if you say that okay are you interested in start startup they will all raise their hand because it's very flashy and siny but when you say okay are you committed now commitment means you have to put forward the groundwork again and again in a repetative fashion okay so this code conveys that idea that when you are interested in doing something you do it only when it's convenient. But when you are committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results. Okay. So this summarizes the mindset that you need for building startup. Right? So there is a uh folks there is a 3C formula. So if you think that you want to be in startup and still you are confused then you should do this practice. So the first C it goes for the clarity. So do you have one problem in your mind where you have a clear solution? You don't need to have a noise. You don't need to have a confused solutions for the problem. So first C goes for the clarity. The second C goes for the capability. So if you if you see there is a solutions available for the problem then will you able to solve that problem? Yes or no? And in in many cases you don't need to solve the problem by yourself but do you have a team or can you build someone can you build a team or can you find someone who can solve that problem and the last C goes with the commitment what Dul mentioned is if you can't spare even let's say 5 to 10 hours a weekly then I think you are not ready for the startup. All right. So now we'll talk a little bit about Ikyu. Ikyu is something that we have discussed this uh here again and again. Maybe heaven you want to talk about and how we both found our passion in teaching and how we grew from a small YouTube channel to a learning and thriving community of 1.5 million people. >> Yes, definitely. Uh hope I'm audible. >> Yes. >> Yes. So uh hi everyone I see about uh 75 plus people there and uh see one thing you have to understand from this session is just know this is increasing your probability in your career right like uh this session is not to say that you all should leave your job today and start working I can tell from myself if you see uh you know burbar's journey he has started you know he has been he has been working he has been juggling in multiple companies he started very early in my case it was not the So I was working in a proper company in a regular company and before I came to code basics code basics is kind of my first startup you know I directly came here but if I have to you know [clears throat] go back to my journey and understand I was already an entrepreneur so I'm not an entrepreneur I'm an entrepreneur when I was in my previous company I behaved like it is it is my company not because I wanted to impress somebody not because I wanted to get an hike or not because uh you know if I do this uh you know people will promote me that was not the the reason I was an entrepreneur because I genuinely believe that I should take full ownership and I was not really caring about like how much hours I'm spending and I was not spending like crazy hours every day as well you know but I really took that problem that end to end ownership as mine that is that is how when I came to code basics when I when we decided to you know when I decided that I will quit my job and start code basics it became very easy for me it was not like okay I'm now moving to a startup ecosystem how this will look no in my previous company also So I took care of budgets, I took care of optimization, I always took care of the end outcome. I was never like a task oriented person. So if you are someone who's listening to this, who is working in a company and you and your friends discuss at 2:00 a.m. in the night saying that, oh, we should quit this and start our own company. Please make sure you you own whatever you're doing in your company first. And don't do this for the company. Most people have this thought, hey, why should we do this for the company? The company is anyways pay paying us peers. No, don't do this for the pay. Don't do this for anything. Just do this for the experience. That is that is the first thing I would suggest. And not talking about the guy and uh this is this is a very beautiful concept that most of you might already know. It's something that you do what the world likes, what the world will pay for and do something that you love and something you also have skills. So that's that's when I you know in 2019 um I I was a subscriber of code basics as some of you already know and I was learning Python and I messaged the by saying that I learned so much from you uh let me contribute something. I said that I know a lot in PowerBI. I really want to contribute something to the world and I joined code basics like a volunteer. from 2019 to 21 uh two years we were just working hadock and uh a lot of stuff I did with code basics I truly enjoyed it was an enjoyable process and uh I just contributed just like I really want to do this and uh yeah that's when we decided to do a power course together and and then we discovered okay this is this is where our passion something we want to give to the world and uh our mission and the skills that we are good at and something the world will also pay for. All the data analytics, AI and everything is something that world will pay for. But then we thought okay fine we can we can have a model where we can teach 80% of whatever we do for free and then 20% we can keep as paid. So people will see the free content if they like they will come and buy the paid content. That's how we structured it and uh that's that's how the code basics started in 2022. We incorporated code basics. That's how we started as a as a company as an tech company. All right. So the [clears throat] the power of eeky is that since you love the work that you're doing, you will never get tired. Being an entrepreneur means you are doing things continuously. Even though you have failures, success, you keep on doing it. you keep on improving at every iteration. This might be tiring sometimes. And if you're doing something that you love, you will not get tired. For example, I like volleyball. If someone ask me to play volleyball, no matter how tired I am, I will play it because I love that. But volleyball doesn't pay me. So, it can't be my guy. So it it satisfies the criteria that okay I'm skilled at and I love it but the world will pay me. No I mean I I don't have that kind of skill where I can become international or a national player. So these are the factors that we need to take into account if you want to do a startup which is based on eeky guy principles. Now there are people who run businesses for different reasons and that's perfectly okay. Uh there are many thriving businesses and not all of them are based on principles and that is fine. We are just telling our experience like Bin's experience my experience that code basics is built based on this guy principle. Now folks we have you want to say something but >> yeah okay uh I think many of you who are here I think you uh you are professionals and every professional has this question I am working how can I find some time to start something so I I read this quote somewhere if you are working uh 9 to6 you don't need to build a factory at least you can start with a Google form okay so let me share one one very relevant example. I know someone who who lives in Vidyanagar who was doing a job but Sunday one day he he went to somewhere for a picnic and he met the mango orchid farm owner. He was discussing with him that for the one box that is a 10 kg of the mango box how much he charged for the distribution. He connected with him and he started distributing mango as a part-time duty and now that guy is running full-time seasonable vegetables and the s fruit selling. He left his job. So he started with just a small idea and right now he is a full-time entrepreneur. So this concept is called part-time startup right and for the part-time startup you don't need capital or certainly you need very low capital how about how can you start this part-time startup is all you need to think about how can you leverage your skill how can you leverage your network as for example that guy went to a farm and he met that person he built a network and then he got an idea about what profit he can achieve you through selling one box. So you can start your network based on your skill, network or digital first or or just you go and certainly start working as a delivery boy. At least you will get some experience, you will get some exposure how people think. Folks, we have built uh a tool uh for all of us where we can try try this out. So I'm going to post that tool in the chat here. It's it's a GPT. It's a custom GPT and you all have chat GPT account, right? So doesn't need a subscription. So please log into your chat GPT account and click on the tool. Do not do not enter anything yet. I'm going to share my screen and I'm going to guide you all. Since you are joining this, I'm hoping that you all have interest. You all have thought about some startup idea and we are going to validate that through this tool. Okay, it's sort of like your guy finder almost. We just built this tool uh today itself. We are going to refine it further. So I'm going to share my screen and I will also uh I'll show you how to use that tool. Okay. So it's a custom GPT as I mentioned it before. Okay. Okay. So folks here what you need to do is first enter the country that you are from. Okay. So I'm right now from India. So I'll just click on India here. Okay. So click on that. If you're not logged in, uh it may ask you to log in at some point. So it's better that you uh log in. Okay. Uh okay. I think okay. Let's say India. Okay. Now there are many working professionals who want to do startup but they don't don't want to leave their job which is which is actually a good idea. You should not leave your job and uh risk everything. You should build something as a side hustle first. Validate your idea and once things are validated then you go full-time. That is what we did with code basics. So here based on your situation you can either enter full-time or part-time. And by the way you need to just enter a number here. Okay. So here I'm going to enter my number. So let's say we are running this for our nephew RDRA. >> Is he here? >> So can you call him? >> Yeah. >> So RDRA is my nephew by the way. he is in a first year of engineering and there are many even students who do this side hustles. Okay. So we are going to assume uh the that the person running this tool is RDRA my nephew. Okay. So let's say he's student and he will be able to do this part time. So just type the number. Okay. So see fulltime is one part time is two. I'm entering two here. And we ran this simulation at his desk. Right now he went to uh I think >> take a shower. >> Take a shower. So we will run this for him. Okay. Now how much money you can invest in? >> Okay. So let's say how much money you can invest in. Rdra is of course in college. So zero. If you have any investment capacity, you can enter the number. Once again you you enter just the number. Okay. You don't need to type anything yet. So I'm going to enter one. Okay. Now, what strengths or compliments do you often receive? Folks, the reason code basics exist is because I did this thought experiment when I was about to start a YouTube channel. Uh the experiment was I uh did some analysis on what kind of compliments I have received in past five years. And the major compliment that I received from people was that I'm good at explaining things. And that inspired me to start code basics channel where I can use my explanation skills to teach technology. Okay. So we are running similar exercise. So here if you don't see an option uh let's say you are good at something and if you don't see the option don't worry you can type it in a in a free form text as well. Now you can type more than one options. Okay. So for RDRA B I think for RDRA I think you can enter right like what do you think like what are the numbers >> he's good with the art >> he's good with the art okay like but from from this uh do you see anything >> I'm known to be very honest right he's a very quite honest and sincere person >> yeah six >> he's good in operations >> yeah right >> so five and six >> so five and six >> and then we can add the custom >> okay and then then I will add one custom thing which is uh I am good in art and design. Right. >> Art and craft. >> Art and craft. >> Yeah. >> Right. >> Y. >> Okay. All right. So, once again, you can enter multiple options. If you don't see an option, you can enter a free form text as well. So, let's enter this. Okay. Now, additional comments. So, RDRA actually helped us. So I have helped I have helped my uncle which is Bin and me okay in his office on Diwali to decorate uh to to decorate it with handmade >> craft [clears throat] crafts. Okay. >> Okay. Uh I also love drawing and painting. >> Painting. >> If you don't have any other comments, you can skip this as well. Uh you can say no comments. All right. Now, what industries or domain interests you mo the most? We're going to refine it further. But let's say for Rudra, what do you think here? >> It can be D2C. >> D2C, right? Direct uh D2C means direct to customer. All right. Once again, if you don't see an option in this 14 uh this list of 14, just type it in. You can enter more than one industries as well. Okay. So, I hope folks you all are doing this exercise. By can you confirm folks are are you able to understand what we are doing? And I hope you all are doing this exercise with us. Even if you're on mobile phone, you can open chat GPT on mobile phone. So please folks, I highly encourage that you practice this along with us. It will be very valuable. I promise. Okay. So I'm going to enter six here uh for RDRA. All right. So now this custom GPT has done some analysis and based on the answers provided which is country India, part-time, zero investment, strong in art and craft, it has given three suggestions. Okay, you can read through your suggestion folks. Mhm. >> So for Rudra it's handmade festive decor brand. Sell handmade Diwali decor wall hangings customized name plates. Start with pre-orders. Avoid inventory cost. Focus on local customers here. And folks this is not the only output. Okay. We have something extra as well. This is just the idea. It will also generate 30-day action plan for you. Now Bin, you know you know Rudra more than me. So what do you think we should pick up? We can we can pick one more than one options as well but right now we'll pick one option and generate 30-day action plan for it. >> Right. We should pick the option two. >> Option two. Why why why do you think that is the right option? >> There are two reasons. >> Again uh he is doing the this decor for the festival for the office. >> Mhm. >> But to sell the sell his skills into the another office he he should have the contact. Right. M >> right now he doesn't have the network but for the customized handmade gift business at least he can start selling those items using the Instagram >> right and the the the the biggest gap in the market is there is no such a vendor who makes such handmade gifts items on the occasion like birthday anniversary and corporate gift as for example corporate gifting >> it's there is like massive opportunity right >> but for the second one He doesn't need to have a network. He can start with Instagram. He can just start showing his art. >> Mhm. >> Right through res >> and then that's how he can start collecting some uh some network and probably he can also use WhatsApp where he will share his his painting right his items through WhatsApp in his network and it's it's like zero investment startup. >> All right, that makes sense. I think we'll receive some questions as well. Uh why did you build a custom GPT? I hope you can build some website API with AI in back end. Would like look like a SS surj sur that's a great idea. By the way, we started building a website but it was not complete. So this is the first session. So we are starting with custom GPT. At some point I think we should build our website where we have our custom inputs. We have lot of ideas from our own experiences. We are going to feed all of that. Suraj, but that's a that's a good suggestion. We will do that later on. But right now with custom GPT at least we are able to do this activity in this very first session. Okay. >> He do you have any thoughts so far? Any anything that's going on in your head? >> No, I tried this tool myself and uh and this tool is working good because it is saying that I should start a startup. I should start a tech startup. So it's like okay [laughter] >> I I did the same thing himan like I did I gave all the suggestion and it to it told me that you should start teaching data science etc and it was I was amazed we we did this experiment on a couple of people today afternoon on Rdra Bin's wife and it is working it is working in a in a decent way at least for the first version that it is. There is a question in the chat. Uh we can answer that. Can you explain how to find customers initially? >> Yes. So uh it's a a drain. Okay. Can you explain how to find customers initially? So there are always customers around you. You can start selling things to your your your relatives, your neighbors, your friends. So it they are going to be your beta users. They will give you a lot of feedback. They will give you a lot of suggestions and you can consider such pilot for maybe couple of months maybe probably one or two quarters. Once you will have enough confidence about your idea or or your service maybe certainly you can you can start selling things or services outside your network. So start selling things within your own network. And one more thing here is that I mean to find the customers before that stage right one thing which I would recommend all of you watching here is start building your personal brand so if you're building a personal brand on LinkedIn Instagram anything right you already have a distribution then whenever you build a product you already have some customers who trust you this is going to be a major game changanger if you don't have a distribution if you don't have a set of people who follow you who don't trust you right then it's going to be very difficult and that can be you know a WhatsApp group as well let's say you are running a WhatsApp group I know a lot of people who are not having like a big YouTube channel or big Instagram channel they are having a WhatsApp group with 200 300 people only but they are saying the conversion rate is 15 20% which means out of this 300 people 50 people convert the 30 people convert that is that is big you know even if they sell a product for 1,000 rupees a digital product for thousand rupees 50 people will buy and they benefit from it so you can think about smaller circles as Don't always think like it should be a big YouTube channel or big LinkedIn following. It is not necessary. Yep. Now folks, let's move on. So let's say RDRA came to this stage and he really likes idea number two, customized hand gift business. But now he's not sure what to do next. So in that case here custom GPT will help you. So here I will pick the idea idea number two and it is going to generate 30-day action plan for me. So let's see what it gives. Okay. So it's a weekly plan just like our data science or our AI engineering road map. So the first week is pick three to five starter products. So it can be handmade birthday cards, personalized photo frames, hand painted name plates, scrapbook, memory albums, etc. And this could be the price range. Now, JP is just giving you suggestion folks. The this is just your baseline, you know, your initial draft. You can refine it. You can do some market analysis. You can look at people in your town who are doing similar business and look at their price ranges. and where do you want to position yourself and decide your price range accordingly. The next step is create five sample products using materials at home. So let's say RDRA can make a birthday card, custom birthday card for one of the family members in our family. Nowadays folks you know people want to gift their family members. Let's say husband wants to gift his wife uh handmade custom birthday card because that sounds really unique. Now people are working you know let's say the the person is working they don't have time they don't have that creative space where they can make that card in that case they can hire Ludra and they can give their memories you know some photographs or their past memories some quotes which they might have shared they can it's like giving a context you know to chat GPD so they give all this context and RDRA can build nice birthday card and uh he You can sell it for let's say in India you can sell it for I think what 2,000 3,000 up to 5,000 rupees depends on your creativity your brand etc. There are people who do this right? >> I I met a girl in Mumbai and she started such startup at the age of 17. She is selling custom handmade uh bookmark and the fridge magnet, right? She's making everything at at at her home and she hardly had invested maybe I think less than 20,000 rupees but she she was telling me that she she's making easily 20 to 25,000 rupees as a profit every month. So there are like there are a lot of things which you can make and the point is here why the this tool suggested that you can create five sample products using material at home. The reason is it is a zero investment idea >> right and even in in such kind of zero investment idea even there are some things there are like many things which you can procure from the vendor and you can sell it to others right if you're confident about your your network and if you're good in negotiation you can you can maybe get a deal with the vendor where where they can avail you maybe possibly 30 days credit where you have to sell all those stuffs in 30 days and then whatever you will get after just having those margin you can pay back. Okay, cool. So now in the first week it is saying that you need to create Instagram page, WhatsApp business account and simple brand name. Week two uh you'll be working on soft launch. So get your first five to 10 orders. You know on Instagram you are posting your product photos, your uh making process videos. Let's say you are making a birthday card. You will just shoot a nice video. Nowadays everybody has a phone, a good smartphone where you can shoot in HD and if you want to get uh any mic you know this holy I have this Holyland Lamark mic where you can put that button kind of mic on your collar and you can record audios okay or audio is very important by the way and these are this is very low cost folks you don't need huge capital for doing all of this then you are going to message your friends take some questions >> because people are posting some questions. >> Sure. Right. >> Yeah. So, uh there is a question from Adid. What will be the cheapest way to test a startup idea? I I have I think I have already answered the question. If you want to test a startup idea, then you have to start uh from within a network because it it is low risk or I would say it is a zero risk. So you can start within a network and once you will get a validation of your idea certainly you can start thinking about going out. >> So Ad tell me did you run this tool? Can you tell me if it what kind of idea was suggested to you Adid you can post in the chat what idea did this tool suggest to you and it also has created a 30-day action plan and that is that is the plan you should work on. You are let's say a student, you are a working professional. This is something that will not require a huge capital. It will not require you to leave your job or leave your college. You can do it on side on weekends, weekdays. Just spend let's say five anywhere between 5 to 10 hours every week. That way you can test it. You can get a feel of it and there will be lot of learning. you know you'll get a lot of data points that will help you decide the next step. One one I one one thing I would like to add is that uh I think pre-order is is like the cheapest way right let's say you have not built something let's say you want to build a product and you you have not you have not completed it but if you can put a website right now you can create a website in a very quick time it's not going to be difficult if you can create a website and ask for pre-orders you can you can test it if if you can generate that revenue or not if you have enough trust in the market or not let's say nobody bought zero zero orders that's good that's a feedback Right? That's an early feedback that you've got. Now you now what you have to do, you have to build that network. You have to build the trust so that at least you get 10 orders, 20 orders, 30 orders. So that's like the quickest way for me to you know test any product that I want to build even before building it. >> Yep. Pre-order is always I think this pre-order thing works in certain industries right Amazon. Uh we have you want to mention any examples? No, it works in all the physical uh industry, digital industry as well, right? Let's say you are good in communication. You want to teach communication to people but people don't know that you are good. Let's say you have made few LinkedIn posts whatever and then you created a website and said like okay fine I'm going to start this cohort from let's say 5th of March. Let's say how many people are going to enroll and if nobody enrolls that's [clears throat] a very good feedback for him. That's it's like okay fine you are good but people are not able to uh trust that you're good. Now it's a big signal. Now now you have to build your trust. You'll have to give start giving some free uh you know know stuff like reals or whatever free post and then people build trust on you and do some free coaching. Maybe convert that to a free coaching. If nobody booked say you know try giving 30 minutes free coaching to people. This this is this is how you can quickly test if people are ready to buy your product or not. If people are ready to pay money to you, that's like a big deal because they trust you. People want to pay money just like that. Even even if it is 10 rupees, even if it is free, some people even think 30 minutes is my time. Why will I pay 30 minutes to you? >> Yeah. >> Today only whatever you're doing. >> Yep. Any other question? >> All right. So we'll we'll yeah we will take I know there are more questions we'll take them. Let let me finish this 30-day plan for Rudra. So here you are offering introductory price for first 10 customers free small add-on. So let's say if you are selling a birthday card or whatever you can give some bookmarks for free along with that. And then third week you are improving and systemizing. Okay. So you're asking customers for feedback, testimonials. Then you are creating simple order format template, delivery timeline, all of that. Okay? And then at the end you are doing a growth push. So you are running small Instagram giveaway post real showing crafting process etc. Folks, social media is going to be the key here. I'm telling you. Uh you are watching Shark Tank Shark Tank program and you might have noticed that the moment a person pitching the idea says that I have few thousand followers on Instagram the sharks will immediately get excited. If you say something like okay I have 30,000 followers on Instagram 50,000 sharks will get immediately excited because they know you have built a tribe and then selling becomes easier there. Okay. So therefore, Instagram, social media is going to be very very valuable. All right. So this is the plan that it showed me for RDRA. By the way, you can now ask further questions and you can refine it further. But I'm going to share my screen. Stop sharing my screen and I want to hear from some people here. Uh what are the ideas that you received in this? uh please post and if it makes sense if it aligns with what you want to do uh you can mention that okay that okay chat GPD gave me this idea and it really makes sense I'm going to work on it okay so just share in the chat what kind of ideas did you receive while trying this tool once again if you're joining late folks I'm going to post the link of this tool once again in the chat I will also So add it in a I think description etc. All right. Mhm. All right. I received only three ideas in farming sector which was a huge gap. Suraj looks like you have passion for farming and you have some kind of background in it. So this that is really good. Yeah that's a great idea. Okay. Let me pin this message in the chat. Okay. Okay. because I have pinned the tool the custom GPT in this chat. So if anybody is joining later on and if you want to try this tool that we have built please try it out and let us know what idea did you receive. Okay. Seeker 84 balcony terrace organic gardening setup service. Nice. that I think I think many people do that right vine balcony and that that idea is really good it it works and folks if somebody's doing it doesn't mean that you can't do it see if you let's say if you are in India [clears throat] >> there is 140 cr people okay there is enough market there can be 5,000 balcony terrace organic gardening services which can be successful which can ear make a living out of it okay then The third option seeker got was healthy millet based homemade snacks. Yeah, millet is getting very popular pav, right? >> Yep. >> Yeah. So, uh I have just texted in the chat uh the seeker 84. You should read the case study of goat life. Uh he's a very young entrepreneur and he just started selling those 20 25 g uh the breakfast. So, it's like ready breakfast. you just add the hot water and you can have 20 or 25 g a protein as a as a breakfast right so there are like a lot of ideas where now people don't have a time to make that uh that millet millet proper meal during lunch and breakfast so people need to have everything ready in their in their plate so this millet snake is amazing idea uh I'm glad so gan seeker Sugnan Seeker is saying that it gave me a text simplified content studio and I'm having thought of it long time. Wow, this tool is working for you. So you were having thought on this and it suggested you the same thing and 30 days plan is awesome. Gan, I'm really happy that you got some value uh today. I hope you can work on that plan and keep us up to date. By the way, we are we are going to go and start a telegram channel as well, right? >> Yes. Yes, we we will post in this channel. >> So folks, we don't want this to be like one time discussion, okay? People get excited and then it just dies down. We want it to be community which where we engage on a continuous basis and we are just setting this up folks. Uh the community the the members in the community will help each other. So we are going to do this in telegram and I'm going to post a telegram channel link right now. Let me post it. So folks please join this telegram channel. So banan for you the world is right now at at the at the age where it leverage the content creator economy. So that is term called the creator economy. So I think your idea that that that is rel related to content creator economy. If you are able to build a massive audience on uh YouTube or Instagram or even through newsletter, you have very exclusive leverage. And then DHS has tech career launchpad for tier 2 and tier three India. So there is specifically now in tier 2 and tier three uh there is a like there is a deeper need of having such a career counseling model be it online or be it offline I think you can you can work on idea one and second is recruitment as a service wow or atte health tech startup right now in ad tech and health tech it means you have to deep down into the niche if you want to build something don't code generic. If you have some specific niche and you build your your monopoly in those niche then again it's a significant leverage then some personal finance learning platform [laughter] everyone needs to learn about the the finance. So there is a term called financial literacy and the second is finance wisdom. uh there are very less platform who who gives that wisdom right of financing like like even I met couple of folks who started investing in silver and gold when it reached to the peak right so >> that's what people do right when something is in news uh they start investing in it and then they regret later on >> yes and specifically like like what mentioned about deh launching the launch pad in tier 2 and three specifically again the same way finance learning platform in tier 2 and tier three it's our social responsibility to let people know about all those the uh the real rules of finance so that at least they those people will have a good understanding of finance >> there's seer he's saying hi to you I mean if you want to say something I think looks like you met I remember I met him in Yeah, nice to see you here, man. How are you doing? I hope your family and kids, everybody doing good. >> Cool. >> So, regardless, right, I want to add something uh because uh >> right now there are a lot of platforms, a lot of people doing the teaching personal finance and uh but again trust trust matters. So, especially when in a space where there is lot lack of trust, the first thing to do is like give something for free. Give something super valuable. If you think you have that stuff, if you have the metal, just give something to for free to people which has a super high value. People should feel like, oh, why they're giving this for free? This should be charged, right? Most people hesitate to do that because they think like, what if, oh, what I'm giving everything for free? What what what will I earn? Actually, what you're earning is a trust. Trust has no value. You know, it does it's like a million dollar thing that you're earning from people. So, you have to make people trust. you have to give something for free to them and so that they can trust and without I spoke to one person who was very frustrated in life and he said to me that you know I'm you know I met him in the Hyderabad office and he he told me that I have an amazing talent I know that my product or my talent is superior than most of the people uh he kind of said that this world is not fair to me or something like that but I don't see it that way because uh you had you never gave an opportunity for people to understand your skills or display your skills. So he had he had his skills with himself. He never gave anything for free. He never gave his products. So that is that is what one should think about when you're giving a product. Just see how you can earn the trust first. And a second thing just research about what is there in the market and what what what can be done new. What is the gap? If if for example in Uber if you want to start an Uber the problem is yes the the vehicle is uh you know you're getting the vehicle and everything immediately but the cars are bad they are smelly so you can solve that problem if you if you want to run Uber only in your town or only in your city you can solve that problem so always find the gap and see if you can fill that >> I want to I I would like to add something over here uh we should consider a case study of Baba Ramdev for good 8 to nine years right he was doing the free yoga then he has the massive audience and right now Patanali is I think probably 80 to 90,000 >> yes >> k worth of the company right so yeah you have to build your network first you have to build a trust first then you can think think about scaling your ideal business and folks don't don't don't always think about transaction because if you think okay I'm doing this for free with an intention that okay I want to get something in return it may not work out that well. Uh so the Ramdev example that he gave Baba Ramdev had good intention of teaching yoga for free. He he cares about yoga. He cares about spiritual values. Patanjali is is a thing that happened later on. I I I remember I I myself learned some of the yoga from Baba Ramdev and he was doing with with a motive of just giving. He had no he's a he had no motive of starting Patani at that point later on it started it grew in a brand based on the trust that he earned even even if you look at code basics journey we we we didn't have any idea on monetization I was working at bloomberg he was at edge well we were just we were just doing it for the sake of doing it and then it grew to a level where we were like wow we can live our job and we can build a company out of it. But building a company was never our motive at that point. Okay. So the law of reciprocity works folks. You just need to have a faith and the return will come to you in a way in a format and shape that you would not have imagined even. So just keep on giving with a true motive that you want to add value in someone's life. Once you add a value in someone's life, they will be willing to pay you. Nowadays, I see many youngsters building this social media apps etc. And my personal take is like what kind of value is it adding? People come up with some imaginary ideas that okay, it will add this and that value. But usually if you think practically it's adding no value. Instead of that try to solve a real problem for I I'll give you an example which I keep on sharing with people. Um I come to India every year I stay in my village for two to three months and clean cleanliness is an issue like toilets rooms rooms are always dusty. You get some local cleaners from the village but they are not professionals and you don't get urban clap in villages. So we have this idea of rural cleaning services. Folks, this is a free idea we are sharing. Please go grab it. I assure you there is a huge market for it. If you come to my my area, the place where I live in Gujarat, there are many NRIS families. There are wellto-d do families. They have their parents, you know, people who have knee issues. They are not able to clean. If you provide a professional services, professional cleaning services to those families, they can pay you. I mean I can pay you 10,000 rupees for cleaning my home in just one single visit. Okay? So just do your math. You will find tons of people like me and there is no company right now who is doing this. So this is a real problem. Building yet another social media app is not a problem. People are tired of social media folks. So if you're if you're a college student and still banging your head in and thinking about social media, please try to solve some real problem. uh and just have faith you know take the take the first step >> and and you you don't need to always chase the fancy idea fancy and fancy ideas have a more risk than the you know >> boring ideas >> yes and think grow 100 is is posting something build a low code agents to small startup and students so by the way there is another question which we got which got missed twice uh there is a question from Mahes Jooshi just two two questions before so he's he's posted it for the second time. >> You you want to take that question? >> But I think Mahes Josie I think even I didn't get his question. So if Mah joi can again give us the clarity about the the problem then we can answer that question. Meanwhile we can move start on building materials right like for building uni material like cement sa sand pur all this bricks and everything. So you want to start an app where people it's like a he he wants it like a probably like a D2C brand like direct to to customer brand or or B2B also probably it's B2B as well let's say it's B2B no he just wants to start an app and uh so I think Mah this is a game of distribution right because once you have a very strong distribution network you are going to get materials at a cheaper price right if people would come to your app why would they come to your app just because of the price and quality so it requires a lot of network you know this these businesses cannot start overnight you need a massive network, you need massive connections and uh to build this because >> and capital you need some capital as well, right? Money, this is a heavy idea. >> Yeah. So, it's a very uh intense business unless you have some connections, you already have a business uh you know if you if somebody's doing this thing in your business then building an app on top of that is much easy. So, think grow is talking about building low code agents to small startups and students. It's it's interesting thing grow because this is the idea we were discussing by yesterday in our AI day >> there we met a CFO of a company which is a group of hospitals and this person he's a chief financial officer okay he wants to automate certain boring processes he receives documents emails and he has some workflow now he started learning N8N okay he learned it he built some workflow but then one of the nodes failed because it asked him for O now he he doesn't know he's not a technical person he he's he's I think a chartered accountant he started learning about O okay what is OT and then he got into a rabbit hole and see he's a busy person he has like say 1 hour of exploration time every day now he lost his context okay he gave it up it has been 10 days He did not get a chance to resume the project because he's stuck at one point which requires him to learn 10 things. Okay. Now obviously he can learn things through chat GPT whatever but think about the practical situation. The person doesn't have time. He's super busy in his work. Okay. So now for that kind of person let's say there is a company there is an agency which is building low code or no code agents where the agents can be used to automate some of the workflows then you are going to make a big business folks that idea is something I personally like I met another guy I think he traveled from Rajasthan yesterday he's working in government and the situation with government is that for 14 people work they have only four four employees the person is super busy he's doing some data extraction kind of work he receives lot of PDFs manually he has to extract data it is too cumbersome now imagine like AI has a huge uh applicability here he can build agents and he can do the work of those 10 missing employees through AI agency. Okay. If the person needs help, once again this kind of agency, low code agency can bid the government contract. They can help. Folks, I think next five years we are going to see huge amount of automation especially when it comes to data extraction and automating workflows and these kind of agencies uh I believe will have a good scope. >> Yeah. And and there is a still huge misconception in the market where people would believe that they should have time, money, idea and confidence to start a business. But it is totally wrong. Certainly at certain level it is it is wrong. I would believe that people should have a direction system. Uh they should have a micro action plan. Micro action plan means rather than just keep thinking you should start taking some action. It is saying that progress over perfection. Right? And and and the last but the most important thing is you should have an environment. You should be within a tribe tribe of people who always push you doing something. If you have a friends in your network who says let's say if if you go and talk to them about starting a let's say a coffee shop right and if they say there are 100 coffee shop in the market and you shouldn't start. If they just keep throwing you just a random thoughts on your brain rather than just giving an idea or giving an inspiration that you are within a very wrong drive. So go and connect with the people online and offline who gives you the direction I think and then you will see a very clear path to build something. Okay. Now we have our usual we have our usual question. This question is for those what will come change in data industry in 2026. Uh this this is a live stream for startups. But I will answer this one question. We have I think discussed this before. We see roles merging. Data analyst, data engineer, even AI engineer these roles are kind of merging. Data analyst and data engineer roles are merging faster than AI engineer. And we are seeing this trend of unified analytics platforms like data bricks are becoming popular because in data bricks you can do your data engineering, data analytics, AI all in one place. So that is one trend that we are seeing. Okay, I think we can move on to the next question which is the which is related to the topic uh here. Okay, I want to ask about export business of agriculture commodities as a beginner. And by the way, Han, just feel free if you have any ideas on any of your questions. So feel free to jump in. Okay. >> Yeah. >> Like I I don't have much knowledge about the export business, but it is something you should go and talk to the people who are already in the export because exporting export business has lot of compliances, right? So if you are good with the compliances and if you are having a connects where >> you are good to go with that that I think you can go and uh build this business but as a beginner I think you should go and do some research about the the core idea. >> I want to one idea and then I want to leave now. I need I need to leave now. I want to share this idea. Not idea I want to share one thought very strong thought folks. uh I mean u like you can see in the comments and many people are saying right today building a product is not very difficult right you can anybody can build a product you just have to do the research and act so just make sure you act after watching the session don't just go and watch another session another video act do something start building a website you know like I said start creating a WhatsApp community or start you know do do something you know do something to sell so other day we were having an idea and we immediately bought the domain and we started work for it. We did not think like okay fine we will think about it later. See the the time between the idea to execution should be very very less. Only then you can succeed in the business. Only then you can succeed in the startup. It is not like a 9 to5 job. You can think on Friday and execute on Monday. You have Saturday and Sunday or Saturday and Sunday I don't work. It's a weekend. It doesn't work like that in the business. If you can the people who are successful in the business are only these people who have the time difference between idea to execution that is very less and execution is relentless. Once you started doing of course you will face some obstacles. Don't expect like okay everything is going to be smooth. Don't start giving reasons. Somebody told me that I asked them why you're not building a product. They said my tokens got exhausted and I know a lot of people like I know a lot of people who are finding hack to use uh multiple accounts and create the product without even when the tokens got exhausted. So now I already see no the access is available for everyone but that is not still enough. There are some people who are relentless. There are some people keep on trying only those people will succeed. So if you're hearing what I'm saying, you be that person. That itself is a big, you know, big differentiator in in today's world. Okay. All the best folks. I need to leave now and thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Bye. Thanks for uh thanks for having me. Take care. Bye. >> Bye. >> Okay, we'll move on to the next question. Um I'm a data student. May data science help in this. Yes. So folks, if you want to build a low code agent agency, you can learn tools like Zapier, Netnake.com. Our channel has a tutorial on Zapier and tutorials you can find everywhere. Just start acting folks. See acting is taking action is the most important thing. So today if you have got some direction through the custom GPT tool that we have built, then do this. Today itself act. Take the first step. You have 30-day action plan with you folks. You're not going to lose it, lose anything. There is a saying, you either win or you learn. Unless you are investing one cr or $1 million in something, you're not going to lose anything, folks. Okay? You can do your startup with minimal cost by following this 30-day plan that you have generated through through this chat GPT tool that we have linked in this chat. Take the action folks. Taking action is the most important thing. Okay? Don't keep on discussing folks. You are going to waste your entire life discussing. See discussing discussion is good. But then there should be there should be 1 hour discussion and 9 hour of action. only then you will become successful and there should be maniac urgency you know Elon Musk talks about this urgency because if you have an idea if you don't work on it there are 10 other people who are working on it right now folks I have when I was in college we as friends used to discuss a lot of things and five year down the road we were like oh this is the idea we discussed in college somebody built $2 billion company wow it was my idea idea. No, it's not your idea. It is the idea that came to 200 people's mind. Five out of those 200 executed it and two became extremely successful. Execution matters folks. Your idea doesn't matter. Execution matters. Okay. >> Visal Patel. Okay. Visal Patel said which kind of networks need uh so you you need to be into the network where it it should be like combination of multiple things as for example there has to be people who can help you in the operation. There has to be people who will guide you uh about the domain you want to build something around the particular domain and uh certainly if if your network has some investor that that that is perfectly good but again the network should be having a people who are optimistic about you know building something rather than just keep discussing. So you don't need to have some some specific skill set in the network but if you have the the you know various mindset of the people in your network then that helps a lot. Now Suraj I I just responded to your question. He's saying it's our culture issue. We only have one out of 20 thinking outside of box not about job. I agree but then we can become that change agent. we can uh install that culture of startups in our country. I remember when I came out of college, there was hardly any discussion on startups. You know, everybody would think about joining TCS, Infosys, all these IT services company. But now it is changing. If you go to any college, majority of the colleges have incubation centers. Government is running various program folks. They are giving funding. They're giving a little bit of funding. Okay? If not huge. Government also have their own restriction. We can't just blame government. >> Whatever government is doing, just be be happy with it. Take responsibility on your shoulders. There are people who have built companies amidst the most adverse environment. Think about Tatas and Amanis. The environment at that time was very bureaucratic very challenging and they built all these companies. >> The environment that we live in in year 2026 is much more supportive folks. >> I felt that when I was in IIT Rookie visit and by the way this is not IIT RUI's incubation program. There were college students from across India who came there and when I was talking with them they were saying yeah my college has this incubation program and it gave me let's say one lakh funding two lakh funding it's happening even government is doing it right so folks whatever government in college is doing is enough okay no one is going to do more than that the responsibility we see if you want to become a startup founder first we need to take responsibility we need to take responsibility of everything our success our failure everything we can't blame it on government and college and not having ecosystem etc we have to do it you live in a world of AI you can build website mobile app using cloud code you can brainstorm your ideas with chat GPT you can uh use social media for customer acquisition you have all the tools you have no excuses this okay >> so um so I use mention uh he's a startup founder and he's looking for seed funding so bro you should have two things you should have a prototype with the good storytelling or you should have at least a workable product where at least it should have some some users who are active so go to the investor having either of two if you go to investor without having none of this then probably investor will ask for the major share where the idea will be no longer remain your ideas. If you have an idea which is if you have a first phrase of MVP which is being used by some of the customers already then there is a good chance of you receiving a funding. If the idea is on only on paper then you're going to face challenges. Okay, that is just the rule of the game. So you have to try more and more. Use social media, build trust network and build first prototype and just get it out and get get your first set of customers. I think that will ease up a process. >> Yeah. And I another questions that how to what to take care about when whenever they need to hire the recruitment recruit a tech team. So for for an initial tech team you should uh focus on hiring builder rather than a coder. You should be having a people with the mindset who guide you who discuss things with you who work on the proactive basis rather than the reactive basis. So if you have this kind of like the the growth mindset people in initial team then I think with less team you can achieve more. >> Okay. Aish is saying I'm I'm trying to recruit a tech team. So for tech team, I will give you one uh one story. The place where I live in US, my neighbor's son, he had a startup idea. I think he was building some kind of social media app. He built a first version himself and he wanted to scale. So he needed a tech team. During the same time Trump was elected and he made all this H1B visa all the rules very complicated. So there were many students who were finding hard to get a job. So what he did is he started recruiting interns from the universities where the students were international students for free. So he would say okay I will give you experience but I I don't have money I won't be able to pay. Guess what? He built a team of 40 people by that guy Joy, >> right? >> He built a team of 40 people. 40 people and without pay. See, you need to think out of box, right? Right now there are engineering colleges where people don't have jobs. So just go to them, visit the campus and say that okay, I have startup but I don't have money. You can be honest. I I will give you experience. Okay, you can leave after 6 months, one year, one year, whatever is the term for the internship, but you will help me build my idea further and in return what you're getting is a real life experience. Okay. So that is something you can try. Uh all right folks uh I think uh planning is the last question I think. >> Okay, I will take this question. I think we missed this Ronut Ronut question. Dalai since you are from Bloomberg what are your views on banking finance fintech because they don't easily adopt open AI chs because of some law yeah I see finance industry have regulations on AI so they're not going to adopt easily but uh your question is vague by the way Rona what are your views means what like fintech is a good domain AI adoption is a problem because of compliance but what is your question please please refine uh please ask your question so that I I can answer it. >> Idea plus planning to execution how to make transition to these steps idea plus planning to execution. So again like uh we we already answered this question idea plus planning do some beta beta surviving even if you have any plan in your mind go and talk to at least 30 people whom you know once you will get some validation and go and talk to 30 peoples whom you don't know once you have the validation for from these 60 people you have clarity about moving to the execution part say I came across this startup in Hyderabad they selling a cold press peanut oil it is healthy okay and there are any health conscious people who would consume only cold pressed peanut oil. So let's say you want to start a business around that. First you need to uh register a company, hire CA, register a company and then uh get some packaging. You can hire a graphic designer on Fiverr for a very cheap cost. Get your package printed and from wherever you are acquiring that coldress oil put the label on and try to distribute that in your family among your friends. If you're going to college, you can put it in your college. You know, you can get a permission from college saying that okay on weekend can I have a small booth? You can have a small booth in front of some public place, public park, whatever in a mall. There are ways folks. So, and you don't have to spend lot of money for all this. Okay. So, that's a always do small trial. When you do small trial, you are learning a lot and then you can expand based on the feedback that you receive from the first iteration. >> Next, let me next question is A91423. How to get hold of changing taste of consumers? We cannot control it. >> Yes. >> Right. So but but again you uh just to go with the flow you can closely check their behavior sentiments you can keep asking some people do this even u like this guy Zomito's guy did it right like they visit customers in person I think as a startup founder you should visit let's say if you're delivering something you should deliver it on your own talk to the customers get the feedback once you get a feedback then you have to be agile and See you have to satisfy needs of 80% of your customer. You will always find this 20 person who will not be happy. You have to decide right you have as long as you are serving to 80% of your customers needs you're good. >> Okay folks thank you very much. Uh we will keep on doing these kind of sessions. Bin is the guy who will be heading this initiative. We have kept the link of telegram channel in the chat in the video description actually. So please join the telegram channel from the video description. The startup finder tool custom GPT link is also in video description. So please try it out in case if you have not tried it yet. >> And we will keep on engaging. We'll have more sessions. We wish you all the best. Thank you. So and just last thing we will be launching a website and dedicated YouTube channel for this the startup related sessions uh will announce soon. >> Yeah. All right. Thank you. Bye-bye. >> Thank you very much everyone.
