one of the best emails that you can learn to write and to send every single month month after month is the client or customer transformation story so basically just show off a happy customer somebody who you know was in this certain place down here a point of pain or whatever this or that and then they bought your product or service and they achieved their desires or their outcome or their point of um transformation so very simple so instead of tell telling the founder story tell the client or customer story as much as you can um really really powerful this is like social proof on steroids storytelling and you get to sell very very easily very easy way to sell stuff so here is um an email I wrote years ago for one of my clients this is for E an e-commerce client and this is a email I wrote um they sell art prints so these are Christian art prints and uh this is this this is the story so the subject line was Colleen scripture art was transformed okay so uh this is the email we dive in and um so here's an example of what e-commerce emails can look like without being super super heavy designed all we did here is I just added pictures in that's that's basically it we just have a logo on top uh pictures of the products a little bit throughout but like these are things I just plugged in play like I'm not a designer and I added a button here and there but like if you look at this the bulk is like this is long form copy right and so uh yeah here's the email so this is the r print that we're focusing on um so we specifically were telling a story about an R print this was the r print that is being referenced so we showed a picture of this on top and this picture links to this particular print this particular art print with the lion um so hey Brandon over the years we've been blessed with countless testimonies of how God has used scripture art to draw us people closer to him one testimony from Colleen our fellow sister in Christ has encouraged us once again and why we do what we do now here is the story so right there this is not my copy this is her quote this is a testimonial this is a a review or a testimonial so you can take reviews and testimonials and turn them into a story uh you also if you want to take to the next level you contact that person ask for more of their story some people will just tell you their whole story it's awesome um so anyways when I received the courageous lion print as a Christmas gift I was impressed with how beautiful it was the majority of Christian artwork seems to be bit tacky but this piece was just gorgeous I decid to put the print up in my office at work I always need to be encouraged in the word it's hard for me to put my headphones in and listen to my audio Bible at work because I have to be able to interact with co-workers and clients so I have my courageous print there on my desk to remind me that he's with me um when I'm struggling getting overwhelmed with work issues that come up throughout the day I look at the print and know that the Lord is the lion and I'm the Cub I can relate to the cub and know that no matter what's going on at work he's looking after me I take a moment and meditate on his word get back to work encourageing the Lord and feel a strength restore me recently I realized that my C shart wasn't just meant to encourage me it was also meant to be a gift to those around me the other day my co-worker who doesn't know God yet saw the courageous piece and she immediately began asking questions about it it was then I realized that my artwork the artwork transformed into a stepping stone to share God's word my cooworker began Ming how beautiful the piece was and I got to share the story behind the artwork I'm thankful because not only am I able to get personal encouragement from my scripture art but I'm now able to share God's word with those around me even when I don't know what to say calling and so there's that then we go off and show so there's the there's the story right this is the story she shared about her thing and so you want to try to get these stories try to do what you can to click ask people for stories ask people to share testimonies and reviews encourage your the client you work with to like collect reviews and testimonials and make it easy for people to share these stories and you know what make a good product and service and these stories are going to be more common um so then we show off the product again with another testimonial so here's where here's pictures can be really good is like showing off a testimonial don't need one you could definitely just write the testimonial um but we show it off again and this is somebody else some social proof and then here is a button by Creator artwork scripture art is a simple way and then here's some copy scripture art is a simple way to share God's word with those around us even if we struggle to share our faith it's an easy way to start a conversation with a co-worker or friend who needs God's word in their lives best part is it's your friends family co-workers who are usually the ones to spark a conversation as the artwor catches their eye if you're wanting to be reminded of God's word throughout the day and you're also wanting to encourage those around you then order scripture art today blessings Jason PS we have some great news this purch is back in stock boom boom boom and then we go into this and here we show off a guarantee and different things like that so there you go there is a client and customer testimonial okay and there's another one I actually want to show you this one's a different actually a little bit of a different style this is what I did for my own newsletter um where I actually tell two I tell two people stories so two copyri two clients 30 days new secret copy Master rind coming soon so I tell a story and I also hinted the preview text about a new offer I have uh this was a few months ago back in March 2024 so I go into it with saying can't line a client you're not alone yesterday i r a pull on X was curious how many copywriters in my audience had landed clients already so I asked and did this poll show that like 50% of people have gotten zero clients almost half said this boom boom boom boom boom you want to know the main reason they have no idea how to found clients so there's my there's my intro there's my lead here's the stats um the reason is they don't know how to line clients you know if you're part of the 87% who are making full-time income then listen up you need to have the tools to outreach boom boom boom uh last week two of my one1 mentorship students L the first copy client but instead of hiding these tags behind a course I'm just going to give them to you for free um XYZ and then I go into it so this one I'm actually doing kind of more a practical post where I'm giving people the tips but I'm integrating storytelling into it so I'm saying like you know um you know go to your friends family co-workers first why because one of my mentorship students just got a quick win by reaching out to someone he knew locally with a construction company he landed a job for a website copy rewrite so and then I show the screenshot here so this is the story right here it's a two-liner and a screenshot and there's the story and then I go into free samples and Loom videos boom boom boom like um I got my mentorship students to do this give fre value up front XYZ and then I show up a screenshot follow-ups you need to follow up people XYZ here's why one of my students reached out to a guy in the first three days of our thir day mentorship he kept the conversation going all the way to L at the end of the month he finally got a book call with him on day 29 um he end up getting four book calls in the final week he closed one of them last weekend and is in the process of closing the other ones this week boom boom boom so this one's kind of a a different take on it but where I have I lead by saying there's two copy rers and I'm going to tell a story here and the story is actually kind of the way I sandwich in the the lesson so this technically is a it includes storytelling it includes social proof it includes a lesson and at the end guess what it definitely includes an offer so I put an offer in here you struggling line CES don't know where to start boom boom boom like here's some proof here's with Chase City got $1,500 a month client reply with mass if you're interested so I'll share this uh share this one below as well for you to check out so this is another way to go into like a client or customer story is like if you can also share a lesson with it you're going to provide even more value and in a way this is kind of like what a case study is a case study is where you're showing off this transformation but you're also kind of showing people how you did it what were the things you actually worked on so there's actually a level of like really high value there
