Let's start with a manual export. Once you've gathered your data, go to the data and analysis tab. Click the export and import button, select export data, and select the options that you desire. Once you've made your choices, click export. This will prompt you to choose a Google account to connect to. Go through the process of allowing Google to connect by clicking allow. Once connected, the export will begin and you will be left with a hyperlink. After clicking this link, you will find the export you created in a Google Sheet. Now, let's go back to our survey tab and into the survey flow. Here, we will click add a new element here and select embedded data. Let's create an embedded data labeled today's date and set the value to the current date and time. This way, we can pull the today's date embedded data field in the task and the survey response date will be in our account's chosen time zone. Remember to click confirm, apply, and republish our survey after we're done. Now, let's head over to the workflows tab and click create a workflow. In the from scratch column, select started when an event is received. Select survey response as a chosen event, make your preferred selections on options, and click save. Now, click the plus icon and select add a task. Type in sheets into the search bar and select Google Sheets. In this case, we will be adding a row to a Google Sheet per response, so select that option and click next. This will prompt you to add a user account again. So, go ahead and click the add a user account button, give it a name, and go through the allowing connection process again. Once that is done, select the account you just connected to and click next. While we have the option to add an existing sheet, let's keep it simple and select create new Google Sheet. Give your sheet and main tab a name and you will see that we can add column headers and values from both the survey and embedded data. In this case, I simply want their email address from question one, I want their favorite number out of five from question two, and I want an accurate date from the embedded data field we created earlier. All that's left to do is give this workflow a name, submit a few responses, and check out our Google Sheet. As we can see here, we accurately got the email address, favorite number response, and date after making this workflow. And that's it.
