handling environment variables in react is incredibly important so first I want to show you how you do it inside a V all you need to do is just really quickly create a DOT EnV file and in here you can put any environment variable you want so if I just put something called secret and I set it to Secret value for example if we come over to our app we can actually access this variable by coming in here and saying import.meta dot EnV and make sure it's import not import Scripts and then we just put whatever our EnV variable is in our case we call that secret but this is not going to work you notice it's blank that's because if you're using Veet you need to prefix all of your EnV variables that you want to be accessed by the client with Veet underscore and then just in here put the underscore and now you can see that that secret value is showing up in our application now if you're in create react App instead you just need to replace this with react app and then you need to come into your app and here you say process.env and then again it'd be react app so if you're in create react app you just need to make sure that you do things slightly differently for how you set it up
