Hello everyone. Today in this video we are going to see how to make a project charter. This is a hands-on on project charter. In the previous video we have talked about what a project charter is and now we are just doing it a hands on. So we have opened the Microsoft word file and uh in the top heading we have written project charter. So the first thing first heading goes as project title here. So in project title uh we are making right now uh this project charter for a CRM implementation project. So it will be CRM implementation project. Second heading can be the purpose of this project. So project purpose we make it a heading. Now project the purpose of this project. What can be the basically we have to decide what will be the uh purpose of our project. Like in this case we are trying to improve the customer relationship management by deploying a centralized CRM system by centralized CRM system that will streamline our sales then uh support services and even marketing workflows. Now this is the purpose of this project. Now uh what is the objective? Now the objective of this project is or this project objective of this is like we have to make some bullet points. So uh like it can be deploy and configure CRM by a space fitting. We can we have to deploy and uh configure the system by say uh we want to make it up to 30th of this. Okay. So we our first objective is this must be clearly defined like this must be specific. Now another objective can be uh we have to train 100% of the sales and uh support staff. Train 100% of the sales and support staff. Now, as you can see right now, we have not given a date here. So, we'll be giving even specific date here. So, we have to train our sales and support staff by saying uh let's take it 15th September 25. try to keep the same uh formatting of the date. Now if you want to have you want to include any other objective that we can just do it. So uh let's include one more objective as we have to achieve 20% increase in customer engagement rate within 6 months. So achieve a 20% increasing customer engagement within 6 months of implementation. So now this objective is specific like we have just given some numbers and specific dates we are mentioning. So that makes it complete. We can add more objectives also. Now we will have to decide on what is the scope or what is what is the things in scope and what is out of scope. So we are taking the scope as what is basically deciding what is in scope first we have this so I will say that uh CRM system setup will be will have to be done. So this will be in scope. We'll have to migrate the data. Then uh even the user training will have to be done. What else can be done? Like uh we'll have to integrate with the email system. Now uh we'll be even deciding what is out of scope here. So we will be saying out of the scope as now can say that integration with ERP system we not going to do with system. So this will not be our task and the hardware procurement will also not be done by us. So we have clearly decided that what what is our task here but our but we don't have to do and uh then next heading can be stakeholders in this we'll have to decide who are the stakeholders so uh say like a John say John who is a project sponsor then there can Jane who is the project manager then we can say it will be having technical support and there can be sales team we can have user representative from them then we will have to decide budget what is the budget for the whole This is again a heading here and budget and again timeline of the wheel just taking it together. So we can say that uh estimated budget we have taken it as 50,000 set and uh duration also we can say duration is uh from June 1st to 5 to September 30 2025 we have to complete it by that now we'll have to decide on what is the risk and what are the constants this is heading so this can risk of data migration device. Now another risk can be uh stop resistance to new CRM resistance to new CR we'll have to tackle all these things. So any other risk if you think that we can write here and at last most important thing approve the signature approval signatures we'll have to take the approval signature this is a very important thing that we will have to do and don't forget to do it we can write his name can get his signature done with Okay. So with this we have completed our project charter. You can practice it along with us and uh I hope that you have liked this uh video of project charter and you are now sufficient to make your project charter yourself. You can practice by seeing this video. You can take the template and you can make your own project chart. Uh I hope that you like the so please like the video and subscribe to our channel for more of such videos. Thank you. Goodbye.
