So, for today's session is going to be on how ClassPoint supports effective teaching practices, or rather, most of us actually know it as the STP. All right. We will actually be making the webinar happen on a regular basis. Thank you, Josephine, for the warm welcome and welcome everyone to our second webinar of the year. I hope you are well and thank you to making the time to attend. And some of you might attend with colleagues as well. So, thank you for bringing them along. Um today's topic, um like what Josephine has shared, um as we know, um the effective teaching practices of STP. and today we're going to learn and share. So we're also going to expect you teachers to share with us your experience, examples you use in the class because we're not here as the experts in pedagogy, but we are here to share how ClassPoint can support the strong teaching practices you already bring to your classroom through the STP. We're going to share some examples that is available in ClassPoint, some samples that are applicable in your lessons as well. And we are also love to hear from you your other examples, your other experiences and some maybe some suggestions you'd like to also share with others because you are the experts and well, together we're together with a roomful of experts of STP. So we're hoping today's lesson is going to give benefits and everyone can go home and apply back in the classroom and also to hear some you know, fun stories, experiences in the classroom as well. So we're going to go through one by one as we know there are four aspects of STP from the positive classroom culture, lesson preparation, lesson enactment, assessment and feedback. Now we're going to go through how ClassPoint can support each of these aspects. I'm going to start with the positive classroom culture. The STP focus as we know is safe, caring, inclusive environments where every student participates. There are a lot of elements under this aspect. I'm going to take Um, two examples. I'm going to combine it at one and um, in one and how uh, and what kind of tools in ClassPoint that can support you. Um, the first is uh, establish clear routines for participation. The intention of SDPs uh, students know when, how, and why they are expected to participate. So, participation is predictable, fair, and safe. Plus, um, we also uh, not only we're going to encourage them to to participate, but we also would like to encourage them to voice out their opinion or their answer without fear of mistakes. So, another intention can be combined uh, to create this positive classroom culture where students feel psychologically safe to share ideas even when unsure. Now, um, we have one example actually to do that. I have prepared this one slide uh, with a question in it. Uh, what I will do, I will use um, short answer. So, students know uh, that they can go to uh, ClassPoint which I will invite you to please join my class. Um, it is uh, 48307. I will also click the link and I will share it on our Zoom chat right here or you can uh, feel free to scan the QR code. So, this is an example on how uh, students know that it is fair. Everyone can uh, participate. Everyone can contribute. Um, so this is uh, the first example and I like to invite all of you to join. Thank you teachers for joining in. Uh, while waiting for the others, I will [clears throat] show you actually uh, maybe this is your first time um, or this uh, you are new user of ClassPoint. Uh, in ClassPoint we have uh, a few different quiz interactives uh, that can be used. And for this example, I'm going to use short answer. So, to prepare this slide, I will go outside the edit mode, and then I will just go ahead straight to Inno ClassPoint app here, and then click on the slide making sure that the the quiz button that I want to tie tie it up with this question is inserted. Just by clicking the quiz button short answer, and then I can place it anywhere I want. Now, if you remember, the second element of that first STP focus is to encourage students to give their answers, their opinion without being highlighted in the spotlight. So, the intention is not the focus is not the result, but the not the performance tracking, but we would like to encourage them to share their ideas, share their comments. To do this, we can hide the participant names when viewing the responses. So, you can collect the responses. I will just click this one, and then I will go to slideshow. So, when you're collecting answers, you can actually display the answers to your students. So, again, it feels fair, everyone can contribute, they are triggered to participate without having a you know, a fear of being spotted if their answers are different with others. I will start to collect some answers now, teachers, and please share your opinion on this question, because then we will be be able to see the collected responses with the participants names that are being hidden. The question, so let's focus on the question now. Some people say we should stop using plastic bags. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons and suggest alternatives. So, sometimes if we provide uh such challenging questions, uh students are being set back to answer, right? Because not only that they are not confident maybe in their answers, but they also they want to be again highlighted among the groups. Uh now, this anonymity lowers the effective barrier to participation. So, they can focus on expressing ideas and not avoiding mistakes. And we as teachers, we can highlight thinking patterns without naming individuals as well. Um and I can see that some of you are already sharing their answer the answers. Let me just open that. All right. Yes, I agree. Plastics take a long time to disintegrate. Now, um you can display these answers to your with your students. They are able to visibly see um the answers and then uh they can secretly support or secretly disagree, right? And they don't know who's sending what. So, this is a safe environment uh and giving them more confident in sharing about their ideas, sharing about their opinion, and thinking as well. So, uh great. Thank you so much for your answers, teachers. Uh I will just wait a few more um moments for you to be able to send in. And again, uh this is transparent. Your students are able to see the answer that they sent in. It's displayed there. Uh again, it is being fair to all. all can participate without being uh feel being left out. Right? Because you facilitate them. Um with this kind of activity. Okay, I will wait up until 3 minutes and then I will close the submission. So, we have 30 more seconds. Great. Thank you everyone who already participate. Uh I will award stars to everyone. Okay. Now, that actually um the example on how we can combine these two SDPs together. Uh these elements of establish a clear routine so they know that when you ask them to join ClassDojo, you already know the code. Uh so, they they know that they can participate, they can answer, they can send their responses. And while you advise that I'm hiding the names, don't worry. So, feel free to share your opinion, right? The next example, teachers, that we would like to share still under the same aspect which is the positive culture in the classroom is to reinforce positive engagement norms. So, you notice that uh I awarded you a star before, right? So, I appreciated the contributions, the response that you shared. The intention is students associate participation with positive learning behaviors. So, they can feel that, "Oh, my effort is being valued." And it reinforce the the motivation as well. So, it motivates the participation without public shaming, and also supports the again the the class classroom culture where effort is valued. And when used intentionally, gamification strengthen the engagement norms, which is it's all the values that we require to reinforce the positive engagement norms just by doing the gamifications. And as you know, in ClassPoint, we have couple of different places where you can award stars, and our interactive quizzes also supports the stars awarding as well. So, this is one of the example that you can use to support the positive classroom culture in the classroom. So, before we move on to the next bit, actually, teachers, we would like to hear from the experts. So, I'd like to hear from you what other ways you think ClassPoint can support. I actually forgot to just insert in here. And just a a reminder, I will hide participant names when you share your experience. So, we're going to take some moments. Again, today's session, we expect that you are able to share and inspire what you have been using in the classroom with ClassPoint that can support all these STP aspects on under the positive classroom culture and maybe the examples that you share can actually encourage and give some inspirations to other teachers today that are attending the webinar to try it in their classroom. I'll take a moment maybe around 3 to 5 minutes to collect your experiences. While waiting I will give the floor back to Josephine just to see if we have any questions or any suggestions from the teachers Josephine. Thanks Thea. So far no question there was anyone but I already answered. So the question was asking how did we actually share these certain polls just now. So I think it was like when we receive the responses and then when you click on it you know there's this zoomed version. So I actually just let the teacher know that they can actually simply click on the responses individually just to show the zoomed version of the responses so that their responses will be more focused you know compared to the other responses that are at the back. Yeah, coming in. Hey great. That's a great question. Okay. >> [laughter] >> That's a great question actually and well we actually already received one comment here Josephine. Maybe I also can share how it looks like. So when you are collecting the answers using the short answer it will give you a will click this button so it will give you the whole board right? So let's say you want to focus on one answer you can click on it and then it will be zoomed like this. Oh this is a very good uh example. I will just go from the first one. Uh, so this is an example, maybe classmates can comment or give feedback on their friends' responses. Thank you. Uh, sometimes at the start of the lesson, I like to check in on my students by including the image upload feature to let my students share what they are looking forward to for uh to for the weekend and how they are feeling for the day. Great icebreaker. Allow them to use Google image to upload a picture and we can have short conversations on some responses. That's a very good example on how to set the stage on uh your class before you uh start the class. Next one, uh we have student who needs clarification on a certain topic and ask teacher to type her or his question and students can share their responses. Excellent uh example. Thank you, teacher. The quiet ones get to be heard via this platform and everyone's voice is being heard. The students get to know one another better. This incentivizes positive classroom culture. Excellent. Thank you. Uh, all right, last one. When students can annotate directly on my slides, they co-construct knowledge. They feel trusted. Classroom becomes collaborative instead of just top-down from the teacher. Wow. These are excellent examples. Thank you so much for sharing. The next one is students see that feedback is timely and useful because they can see it clearly and uh in a real time. Great. Uh, and next one is better focus when each individual has the slide on her screen. Yes. So then uh they can have a a mimic uh slide on their phone as well as when the teacher is uh displaying um in front of the class. Excellent excellent example. I will wait for a bit more up until 1 minute left. Encourage participation of more students. Great. So these are excellent examples. I hope teachers you are able to get some insights inspirations on how you can start your class next week. And you can decide which tools actually can support you to create a positive classroom culture with ClassPoint. Today we have up until more than not up until more than 30 features available. Okay, last one before I close students can learn from their classmates responses and learn together from the good examples. Teachers can also address misconceptions in a timely manner. Teachers need to make sure that the class is learning together in a safe place. Excellent everyone. Thank you so much for all that have sent their responses. I will give two stars for the examples that you shared. So we're going to move to the next point or the next aspect of STP. Before we do that just want to have a quick check-in with Josephine if we have any questions or any comments from the teachers. No. Yeah, I think you can go on. Okay. Thank you. Uh so, the next bit uh the next aspect is uh lesson preparation. Oh, this supposed to be number two. So, lesson preparation. The STP focuses um thoughtful, intentional planning centered on learning goals and what our learner needs. So, again, I'm combining these two elements. We know that there are a lot of elements under the lesson preparations and how you can um use ClassPoint to uh support that. Under these two elements, clarify the learning intentions and success criteria, which we already have the intention to teach uh let's say certain topics, certain subject uh or certain formula to our uh students. And um we know the learning uh objective, the outcome that we want. And we also would like to anticipate common misconceptions that might um occur in uh our learners. Now, the uh STP intention is um teachers are clear about what students should learn and what success looks like before the lesson begins. So, then we can design such lesson or such activity um to trigger their answers um so then we're able to um like the the question is explicitly tied uh to the learning intention. So, for this sample, I have prepared a fill-in-the-blanks activity. Uh this is just an example. Uh you also can use your own uh lesson subject to try it out. This one is for um English uh subject. So, I would like to introduce two words in English, uh confused and surprised. So, I would like to design this so that my students I hope that my students are able to answer either between confused or surprised. Or I also would like to check if there are some other uh answers might occur outside these two ones that I expected. So, this one is he was either confused or surprised when he arrived because no one was there. So, uh to do this I actually again I can use the fill in the blanks um activity and then uh as uh in fill in the blanks you can decide how many blanks are available, right? So, it has only one blank. Because my learning intention is again I'd like to um uh share with them the differences between uh surprise and confused, when you use surprise, when you use confused, and how you use it. Now, um I will choose one as in the number of blank. It has correct answers, yes. And then um blank number one, I will you use confused in here, right? And then I will press enter. Key in that first uh correct answer and the next one is surprised. Right? Oops, sorry. Okay. And of course I want to hide the participant names when viewing responses. And then uh I can directly run this activity. Um feel free if you want to uh share uh your answer, only one. So, he was blah blah blah when he arrived because no one was there. Uh because then when I collected the responses and then I close the submission, I can share it with my students in the classroom whether their answers are correct or wrong and then why confused are correct is correct and uh as well as surprised. So then uh after that I will then oh there you go you learned two new words that we are going to learn for today. So let me open the answers. Right, so perplexed okay excellent surprise surprise confused excellent devastated upset yeah it actually opens a lot of opportunities right for this kind of question. We're also going to surprise be surprised that our students are very creative and have their own opinion and actually that can add in into the lesson itself let's say perplexed guessed is something else that you can use besides confused and surprised. I will close the submission. Thank you everyone for participating. And once I close that we can see it clearly that the green ones are the one that I keyed as correct answer right? And then the red ones are the one that outside one that we have pre determined answers. So again this can sparks a lot of discussions in the classroom and then after explaining the meaning of all these different words then you can run another activity and then try that them to create a phrase maybe use using the word that you just explained. So we have a lot of different creative ones we have puzzled in here annoyed excellent. Thank you everyone for joining and also you can decide to you know value their effort to award stars and those that arrives to the learning intention you can click on the show correct answer and give a total stars to those that answer it correctly. So, you also can do this in the gamification system that that we have. So, again, thank you. And the examples will be a lot, right? This is not the only examples, of course. But just how it actually align with the STP focus. Because the success criteria are clear and observable. And students must supply the concept themselves, not recognize it from options. Sometimes I love to use an MCQ. And then usually students will just I will just choose B. Now, with this kind of activity, they will need to give their own answer. So, then it will be able to get the the the intention itself. And then incorrect responses reveal how students may be again creative on giving out the different ones or misunderstood the process or the intention that we want. Maybe this is based on the subject that we have taught before. So, it could be a lot more. So, again, I actually would like to invite you teachers. What other ways you think ClassPoint can support? Because I just gave you one example in here. I will just use short answer and I will hide the participant names. I we will allow three to five minutes for you to share what are the examples that you actually use to prepare the lesson using ClassPoint and what are the tools you think support this STP intention. Again, while waiting, I will give the floor back to Josephine to see if we have any questions. Thanks, Tia. There's actually one question, but I would like you to later on go back to the actually you can also do it now, but the question is is there any way to hide the responses of the students when we want to check on the live status? Because for now the responses are still showing at the background while I check the live status. So the rest of the students who have not submitted will be able to see their classmates responses. Okay, that's great. So there's thank you, Josephine. There's one way that actually we can hide the responses, so it won't influence the others to copy the response, right? So for an example, we have one incoming comment here. I will open it up. It is located here just beside the music. So if you click on it, it will hide the responses that you receive. So you know, let's say in our class we have at the moment we have 32 of you joining in. One already sent in their answer, two now. So you can expect you need to expect 30 more, right? So you can go around the room and then while showing the hidden responses displayed on your PowerPoint. You can go around the room and check who still in the process and who needs help maybe to answer. But if you want to go on the live status uh check, Uh I suggest for you to stop share uh uh the projection first because then um you will be able to see who are those uh students uh who haven't sent their responses. Thank you for the demo. Okay, excellent. And I will uh uh reveal the responses now. Great, we have four um experiences and also suggestions and uh examples. The AI quiz can help a lot with generating check-ins in between discussion slides. Oh, that's really helpful for the lesson preparation, cutting times as well. Great example, thank you. Is there a platform for sharing ready-made templates uh that users can share amongst themselves and edit on their own? Okay, sharing ready-made templates. Um do you mean like uh a ready-made slide or activity? If that's uh what your question is about, yes, we do have. Uh but I will uh allow more responses to come in first to show you uh about this one. We have quiz ideas in ClassPoint. Um and that's actually a very good question. Um that can help you to prepare lessons faster uh with the pre-made questions and designs uh templates that you can use right away uh with the quiz buttons inserted in it. I'll get back to this question later. Thank you. The AI feature that helps to generate relevant questions to check students' comprehension of text uh passage learns, or other components of language application. We can choose those that are relevant to the lessons and discard those irrelevant ones. Great. Yes, the control is within our hands and the AI quiz generator generator helps you to give options and brainstorm with you to prepare your lessons with the questions. Thank you for the example. An easy way to engage with my students. Great. Thank you. Question bank generator, which is AI quiz generator, that creates multiple item types, MCQ, drag and drop, drawing annotations, and can auto produce five questions of each type per lesson. Yes. So, with our AI quiz generator built in in PowerPoint, you just need to prepare a slide, run the AI quiz, and then the AI will generate as many questions as you require, and you can insert it as a slide, and run the activity with your student. Thank you for sharing that with us. That's a great idea. From the students' responses, we can see their learning gaps and pitch the next lesson from there. Wow. Great. So, this is actually a part of our assessment and feedback as well, and which is great point that you already shared. Thank you so much. To support lesson planning, other features that could be used are polls, drag and drop, exit tickets, flexible groupings, use levels and badges to motivate. Great example. Thank you for sharing. Put in video and use EdCafé AI. Our different product. So, put in video and use EdCafé AI to generate the questions based on the YouTube video. Put the questions in the slides. Okay. Great. So, that's a great way to combine both. Thank you for the example. Putting in whiteboard slides to explain and demonstrate. So quick to demo. Yes. So it's really helpful and for you to annotate on this as well as well. Thank you for sharing. We can use PPT lessons that we have previously prepared or provided by MOE and add in the ClassPoint elements. So it's seamless. Uh, thus we are not starting from scratch when we have our I have our existing resources. Great way to combine it. Great idea. Thanks. Last one before we move on to the next topic. So there's a first question is is it possible for ClassPoint to be linked with Padlet? Okay, great question. Thank you. So to be linked seamlessly, um, we don't have that facility facilitation at the moment. Uh, but then um, you are able to of course um, upload the deck onto Padlet, but you are unable to run the ClassPoint features uh, on Padlet if you know what I mean. So it's just going to be a normal PPT that you uploaded it. I hope that answers, Josephine. Yeah, great. Thank you. And the next one it's actually a follow-up question from the previous one where we hide the students' responses. Mhm. It is saying that it actually hides the answer from students and teacher. If it's visible to teachers only, then we could mark and highlight some of the answer to show the students right after the time ends. Okay. So, is that a question um whether we can do that as teacher to um insert it as a slide and then um highlight it with students? Uh I believe it's a question. Maybe maybe it's the way um he phrased it or perhaps I can just take it away from from here. So, um ClassPoint do not don't we do not have this feature where the responses um that comes in are only shown to teachers and because uh when we project our laptop onto this classroom's um projector screen or in this case even when we are online, when um teacher guys doing the screen sharing, we can all see the responses coming in and stuff. So, we do not have a a a a a separate feature where it allows um the teachers to view the responses um beforehand. Uh so, the uh the the additional workaround I would say is either you can start sharing your screen if you are doing an online class or if you are doing a um in-class um activities, you know, when you are having your classes um physically in the class, uh there's two different options. You might want to just pause the projection for a bit or you can make it as a extension projection so that you can drag the windows onto your laptop while it is still running the activity. Sounds a bit technical. I don't know. >> [laughter] >> Thank you. Just a minute. That's actually uh yeah. That's actually explains. And another recommendations maybe that we can suggest you to do that and we're going to cover it in our assessment and feedback bit. Oh, sorry. Not that one. I think it's less the next one actually. And wow. Such a good timing. >> [laughter] >> So, allow me to explain about this next one and how the recommendations actually you can do that. Sorry. Actually, it is from the Allow me to um took a quite a big leap. Um so, under our assessment and feedback how you can provide timely and actionable feedback actually student teachers. Um you can do this but not in real time because you know, if you hide the participants name then you will need to select the answers that you want to insert it in and then put mark on it, right? So, to do this if you are using short answer, this is an example. With short answer, you are able to insert the answers to the slide one by one or all at once create a table. We're going to create a table for you. And you can project this and then put a mark on it. And you can choose to display it with your students and then give a feedback and the name the names are hidden anyways. So, you can give an example live on how the answer would look like. Um and then you can discuss it with with your students. So, that's another recommendation we can give to you. Um I hope that answers but technically real time to split uh the answers to be only visible to you is to not showing it to the in front of the class. Yeah. Good. Thanks, Thea, for the additional add-on. Uh there was another question that just came in which uh how can ClassPoint promote students' oral skills? You know, like let students talk and give opinions. Thanks. Excellent question. We have audio record um activity for that. So, um you can use this and then you can uh from the activity your students they are able to record their voice and send in uh the responses with you. You are able to play that um and save it um on your slides on your PPT uh under the ClassPoint activity. And um you if you want to uh replay it in front of the class, you also can do that as well. So, that's a an audio record activity that you can use. Good. So the last not the last, sorry. We're still on the lesson enactment. So lesson enactment, this this one of the most fun STP so far that I discovered. Because ClassPoint can support in many ways, right? We We read the room and then we we decide on the spot, on the fly, what tools we can use to support in any kind of conditions. In you know, if you have a shy student, if you have students that are very noisy, things like that. Or even this one. So lesson enactment, the STP focus is responsive teaching during the lesson based on student engagement and their understanding. So we'd like to see the learning gaps that they have. So we can monitor student understanding in real time. The intention is teachers observe student thinking during the lesson and adjust instruction accordingly. I'd like to give out an example of short answer with AI insights. So if you're using a short answer activity um once you close the submission, you will be able to interact with the AI to give you some queries, some insights, and uh further uh info about the responses that you have collected. I'll go back uh to if you remember, we did the plastic bags activity, right? So, um once you have closed the submission, the answers are collected, uh it turns into green, no longer blue, and you can view the responses in edit mode or in a slideshow mode. Now, you notice that there's an AI insights feature on our short answer. So, if you click on that button, a um an AI insights will uh come up just like this. So, it will firstly give a quick summary of student responses based on my activity before. So, most students agree that plastic bags are harmful. So, let's say uh I want to know uh what are the top concerns of using plastic bags. All right? So, I can interact further. Um so, uh imagine that you don't have to go through the answers one by one, but using this AI insights really powerful uh to give you a um real-time uh insights. So, you can see the learning gaps uh from your uh students, and then um you can see instantly whether students are following explanation, let's say, or misunderstanding uh can be identified early. Instruction can be adjusted on the spot as well. So, let's say, "Oh, okay. I think uh uh a lot of them already know uh about the uh decomposition, so maybe that's going to be my next um lesson such and something like that." So, um this supports STPs uh emphasis on responsive, in-the-moment teaching as well. So, then you can decide um you even can decide on different see it differentiated instructions level as well. Those students who are uh need attention, um, need uh more understanding on such topic. So, I hope that this can give you uh a broad example on how you can uh utilize the AI insights um to support with the lesson enactment um STP that we have. Um, the next one that we have is uh to adjust and this already been um shared by your example before, teachers. One of you said that um uh to be adaptive uh you can use quick poll as well. So, adjust pacing and instructions based on student responses. As simple as um do you already understand uh what have been shared? Uh you can use the yes, no, unsure, or you can use feedback uh five levels, strongly agree, disagree. So, you can decide whether to move forwards to the next one. So, decisions are based on student learning evidence. And uh you can decide whether it's under teaching or over teaching. Uh so, it reforms it's reinforces the teaching as a thoughtful and responsive practice as well. So, again uh these are just two examples that you can use under the lesson enactment. Um, of course, we'd like to invite you to also share what other experiences or samples you think um ClassPoint support on the lesson enactment. Again, I'm going to hide the participant names. So, um we don't have the feature that allows you to add video um from the ClassPoint tools. Uh you can just add video as usual in PPT. So, you know that you can add video from YouTube online or a link that can uh hyperlink to the YouTube or even a video media that you can add on PPT. So, that still can be done. But um a special feature that allows ClassPoint to do that is uh not available. But if you want to collect videos from your students as a res- their responses, uh you can use our video upload feature. So, you can run an activity, can you um give a brief introduction about family tree, your family tree in 2 minutes video explaining um about the family tree. Then uh you can allow them to um record themselves using their device and then send in the video and you can collect uh the videos that way. I hope that answers for the number one. You can just use it as per usual of your PowerPoint. And all your PowerPoint feature is still going to be there and be available. So, ClassPoint is actually just a writer writing on to PowerPoint. So, how you guys usually use your PowerPoint, how you guys put in the videos, the images, the URL links, and etc. It's still going to be the same way. You won't need to change the way you used to create and use PowerPoint. So, no worries on that part. Yeah. Sorry guys. Well done. Thank you, Josephine. And I'd love to open the examples that already shared by teachers. Under the lesson enactment, there's a an experience I understand that the ClassPoint's draggable feature is strictly only for teachers to drag the objects around. Is it possible to students do the dragging of objects in the slides? For example, dragging labels to label parts of a plant on their own device. Yeah, you mean okay. Um noted. We will escalate this to our tech team. At the moment, only from teachers' side. Yes. And thank you. We're going to escalate this to our tech team. Um see about those who need attention and follow up with other form of remediation, right? Yes. An instant uh understanding gap that you can get from the students. For short answer, how long can students type? Can it be one or two paragraphs? Great question. Up until 1,500 characters, actually. So, as long as those two paragraphs are within the limit of 1,500 characters, uh yes, your students are able to send them through. Um next one, can you come out with a feature that allows teachers to release the control of the past lives when the teachers want them to do a short discussion during a certain period of time? And then the teacher locks again the control to allow her to take control of the lesson. Uh the control Oh, okay. So, is it for for the students' side? So, they are unable to go back to the past slides? Um I'm trying to uh re-read the question again. Can you come up with a feature that allows teachers to release the control of past slides when teachers want them to do a short discussion during a certain period of time? So, the first question was, does ClassPoint works well only with PPT because um the teacher actually noticed that there's some lag happening when it's Canva slides. So, just to answer the question, ClassPoint is actually a PowerPoint add-in or add-on. So, it only works within PowerPoint environment per se, but um even if you actually create your slides through Canva, which I believe many of us do because like we love all the fancy templates and you know, designs and stuff like that. You guys can actually just export it as PPT and you can start using it as per usual and include like your ClassPoint features, activity buttons, and stuff like that. And a lag can be due to many reasons like the file size or the device specs. Sometimes our device are old, you know, or it's already laggy. So, Or the memory space is quite low. Yes, correct. And then like it takes quite a big effort for the laptop to be loading our slides. You know, then this could actually lead to lagging and it might not really be because the slides are coming from Canva. But if this actually happens to any of you teachers, if it's happening frequently, you know, feel free to just write in to us so that we can connect with you and we can investigate on the issue. We will see what we can do to help to eliminate this legginess from your device. Yeah, not from you, but from your device. Yeah. All right, Ken. So, that is that and there was actually another I think it's a comment, more of a comment. It's not really a question, but she has actually she mentioned that she have actually tried to change the setting language to simplified Chinese and she actually used it and tried the AI insights in her class this morning as well. Thanks for sharing. And then but she mentioned that the insights actually gave her in traditional Chinese instead of simplified Chinese. So yes, we do need to look into that. But just several feedbacks from the other teachers um that we heard from like it's more intuitive, it's easier for them to navigate and create ClassPoint lessons to SLS. And because ClassPoint is really embedded in PowerPoint, they can seamlessly embed the quiz activities easily. They can make changes on the spot, etc. on on PowerPoint itself, you know, and then it's also easier for them to create these questions activities in PowerPoint compared to SLS. But I'm sure like different platforms provide different pros and cons. So I can't say too much because I do not actually have access to SLS. So, this this is our last bit actually just a few things teachers. Um, we've come to our uh last aspect of the uh Singapore teaching practices, which is the assessment and feedback. Um, the focus on SCP is to use the assessment and feedback to identify learning gaps, support progress, and inform next steps in teaching, which you already helped us a lot actually to give uh some examples before, right? On how you can spot um the uh learning gaps, understanding gaps, but when you're a teachers using AI quiz, and then they also have the AI summary as well to give you some insights. Now, I will combine these two elements of um use assessments to service learning gaps during the lesson or even after the lesson, um and identify patterns in student understanding, which means we get to analyze on the activities that we run with ClassPoint, um and uh we can decide on how we can actually provide feedback to them. Um, the intention is um the assessment is formative and ongoing. Plus, uh teachers look beyond individual responses to identify class wide trends. To do this, uh we actually have the ClassPoint reports and AI screen. So, uh to access this, uh you can go uh on the edit mode, and then it is located here in the my classes and settings. It's reports. Once you click on it, it will bring you over to the web app, uh where you uh it can recognize Let me just zoom in. It can recognize that we have an ongoing class right now, but if you want to go through the uh you know, the last past uh classes that you have, you can click um I think I will just go uh maybe this one. So, you can click on it, and you have the Let me zoom in as well. Uh you have the AI summary, uh right? Um what what have been happening uh during that activity. So, this is a wide class trend that you can spot. So, by this AI summary, you you get the understanding on the activities that you had. Even you can go through if you can go inside the slide and see the whole class responses. This gives you a better look on the result of the responses that you've collected as well based on that activity. And you can go through the reports that we have again. You can click here. You can go through each classes or if you have your private class, you can go under classes and then choose let's say I have this one in here math 29 classes and then you can go under reports. So, you can let me just go the one that I already have. Right. Reports, then you can go through the activities past activities that you had. This way you can analyze. You can learn the trend. You can search the learning gaps as well and you even can you know learn from the AI insights available on short answers as well if you have the activities in here. So, I hope that gives you an example on how you can use ClassPoint's assessment and feedback. Next one is the one that we have shared before which you are able to select which response to insert it as a slide. Just replay that how to do that. So, you can insert a slide as a whole or one by one and this is also available in word cloud image uploads in other activities in ClassPoint. So, then you can display the responses and you can give the feedback that is timely and contextual. You can help students learn from examples and also supports a feedback rich classroom culture as well. Now, uh the next one is really uh special. Uh we have a shout-out to teacher. Uh this samples actually shared by teacher Farah Filzah from Singapore. Thank you, teachers Farah, for sharing uh with us the real classroom uh examples that you use. Um that supports the responsive teaching and informed instructional decision-making. Uh teacher Farah said in her science uh lessons she frequently used the slide drawing feature because it allows her to gather immediate evidence of learning and adjust her instruction accordingly. The interactive tools also enhance engagement and make learning both rigorous and enjoyable. Um she also we have the pleasure of um the screenshots of some uh of her science lesson slides that uh you can get the inspirations from. Um so this first one, this is a completing food web. You can see that uh it's a uh it's a blank uh space and then uh students uh they are being grouped and then decide uh the food web. Not only this example, we have a next example of rearranging protocol for a science um experiment. Uh so uh again, they can uh group up, they can decide uh the sequences um after you share the example and then uh this kind of activity uh can uh actually support them uh to uh learn from the others as well when you show and display. Um uh you can provide uh the feedback on the spot as well um uh with them and that can support you to, uh, decide on the instructed, um, decisions. Um, the next one we have drawing, uh, a series of electrical, uh, circuit using circuit diagrams. So, I was so happy to use, uh, to be able to write this down cuz I remember for this subject, uh, for this lesson in the past, uh, we gather, you know, we hand in our paper, right, to the teachers, but we don't get to see it displayed in front of the class and learn from the others. Um, and lastly, not least, uh, drawing an animal cell. So, this is an example from teacher Farah's, um, classroom, uh, how she asked, uh, students to draw an animal cell and label the three parts. So, they can really get really creative, uh, on how to draw and write it down on their slide, uh, part. So, let's give some love, uh, appreciations to, uh, our teacher Farah. So that's a very creative way to include five questions on one slide using filling the blanks. Yes, to show all all correct ones, I actually can go just back. I think Oh, I'm running an activity. Um but you actually can once you've collected all the responses and close the submission, you can go ahead and toggle there's a on the top of the board there's a toggle show correct answers. So you actually can click that and it will give you all the students who answered it correctly based on the answer that you key in on the fill in the blanks if that makes sense. Yeah. Yeah. So perhaps later on after you have closed this Yes. Yeah. You can go back on to the fill in the blanks to see and also just to do a very quick demo on how the teacher can then toggle on the show correct answer. But teachers before that you will need to put in the correct answer for each blank like question one the answer is three or four, you know, and then respectively so that later on when you toggle on the correct answer it will then tell you and show you who got um whichever right and wrong. Your chance is here. Yeah, we are going to be talking using at cafe. All right, we are not going to be talking about class point. So, you might also want to just join us even if you are not teaching language, but you can just join us, you know, and then you can get a quick overview, have a great insight to see what is at cafe and how at cafe works and perhaps it might be a good tool for you to um What's that called? To explore, yes. Yeah, to explore and see if it might be a good fit for you to use it to create your homeworks and the questions respectively as well. And yeah, another feature the teacher requested is a Bluetooth support to enable students who don't have internet connection to answer questions. Uh thank you so much, Josephine. And uh to answer your question on how to show the all the correct blanks. Um so uh yeah, just like what Josephine um has mentioned, make sure that you have key in the correct answer in here. Uh once you have collected that, uh so fill in the blanks in ClassPoint will recognize these ones that you uh put in here as the correct ones. Let's say you said that um it's an MCQ style, right? So, blank one, correct answer is A. Uh blank two is B, and so forth. Um once you have collected that, so you can actually uh click on the button and then view the responses. It is available here. So, click on the show correct answers, and then if you click view, then you will be able to see who are those who answered correctly. And uh you also can give stars respectively as well. I hope this answers uh your question, Joyce. Yeah, great. Thank you. And even if you don't toggle on the show correct answer when you're viewing responses, you can actually see some words that are highlighted in red and green. The red ones are the wrong answer, and then the green ones are the correct answer. So, you can also just go through to see, but with the um show correct answer toggle, it will be um clearer, and it will also give you the list of those who got it correctly, so you can um quickly catch who are the ones who got it correct. Um it also tells you the correct weights over there as well. So, you can then see, you know, the percentage of how many students got it correct. And if it's really low, then you might, you know, you can then go back to that particular question to just go through and reinforce um the the logic, and know, etc., etc. to the students.
