Can equality spark innovation in cybersecurity?
Join us on March 8th for a pivotal live stream event, “Forward Together: Women in Cyber Leading Change,” moderated by Delisha Hodo. Our esteemed panelists, Zinet Kemal, Tia Hopkins, and Jasmine Suarez, delve into their inspiring journeys within the cybersecurity realm.
Our conversation extends beyond personal achievements, focusing on the theme of collaboration and its power to foster gender equality in cybersecurity. Despite the industry being predominantly male with women constituting around 25%, we explore tangible steps towards not just compliance but a strategic cultural shift essential for closing this gap.
The dialogue will also address the optimistic forecast that women’s representation in cybersecurity is expected to rise to 35% by 2031. Beyond the numbers, we’ll discuss qualitative indicators of progress, cultural shifts that signal genuine inclusivity, and the dismantling of implicit biases, especially in leadership.
Each panelist will share their personal ‘north star’ for the year, guiding their efforts to drive meaningful change within the workplace.
This event promises to be an enlightening exchange of ideas, experiences, and strategies aimed at propelling the cybersecurity industry forward, together.
