Key Takeaways
Creates purpose-driven content to teach, build trust, or encourage action
Original Description
one of the biggest mistakes I see business owners make is creating content without a purpose. They post because they feel like they have to. They'll share random quotes, a funny meme, a holiday post, and then wonder why their marketing isn't getting them the results they're looking for.
Here's the truth. Every piece of content should have one job. Teach, build trust, or encourage someone to take the next step. So before you post the next piece of content, ask yourself, "What is this post supposed to accomplish?" If you don't know the answer, don't post it yet. Let's remove one layer of confusion regarding your content strategy.
Here's today's action step. I want you to grab a pen and paper and write down your last five social media posts that were published. Next to each one, I want you to write the word "teach," "build trust," or "take action," identifying what its goal was. If a post does not fit into one of those three purposes, ask yourself why it was published, because intentional content builds intentional businesses.
That's how clarity creates momentum in your business. And most business owners think that they have a marketing problem, but most of the time it's actually a clarity problem instead
I don't know who this is for, but I trust that God put this on your timeline so you could learn something new today. And if you're new here, I'm Teri, owner of Merit Marketing Services and founder of the Clarity Engine, where I help small business owners go from confusion to clarity and take the mystery out of marketing
Save this video so you can evaluate your content strategy later, and comment below whether your next post will teach, build trust, or drive action. And follow me for more Clarity Engine frameworks and practical business advice. And if you want to learn more, you can visit theclarityenginemethod.com
