Join us for a deep dive into the simplicity and effectiveness of Byte Pair Encoding (BPE). We’ll break down the core concepts of BPE and show you how it works. BPE at its core is about finding patterns in text and figuring out which patterns are worth remembering. We will then take a brief overview of the implementation process of BPE from scratch in C.
Currently a final year undergrad , working as a Machine Learning Intern at Pibit.ai. His interests lie in Generative Models and Continual Learning.
