This is the TV series "American Experience" - a long-running show about American history & the events and personalities that have shaped the United States. The educational value of the events and personalities covered in each of these episodes is unparalleled. All episodes are publicly shared on archive.org for educational purposes and personal use only.   These episodes cover race, equality, injustice, war, hardship, perseverance, love, power, famine, and the triumph of the American / Human spirit. They teach us about history so that we aren't doomed to repeat it. I've made it my mission to collect these because they are so special and the lessons contained in them are so great.  This series has been running for over 40+ years ....before stereo broadcasts, before HD, before widescreen. Plus, some of these episodes are only available because someone recorded it on VHS the night it aired, and then transferred that over to their PC and then uploaded it to the internet.
