AI Assistant Traffic in Google Analytics

Google Analytics is adding a new way to track traffic from AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. You'll now see an "AI Assistant" channel automatically in your Default Channel Group reports. This makes it easy to see how much traffic is coming from these AI sources and compare it to your other channels like organic search and referral traffic. You can also drill down to see which specific AI assistants are sending people to your site and which pages they're landing on. This helps you understand if and how generative AI is impacting your business.
