So, yesterday one of my student told me she's struggling to prepare for interview. Not because she doesn't want to study, but because it's getting hard to even sit and focus. And honestly, this is way more common than people think. Our focus is getting span is getting good by constant scrolling notification reels. Your mind is not used for sitting in one place for 2-3 hours anymore. So, first thing, stop forcing yourself to do these massive study sessions. Your brain will start rejecting it even more. Instead, break those 2 hours into four chunks of 30 minutes. One in the morning, one after lunch, one in the evening. Spread it throughout the day. And use a timer. I know it sounds small and maybe even unnecessary in the beginning, but trust me, this is an investment. You are training your focus again. After some time, you will notice something interesting. That 30 minutes will automatically become 45 and then 1 hour. Focus is not gone forever. It's just out of practice.
