What Codex Unlocks for Nextdoor

Codex has fundamentally changed how we think about engineering to the point that we can't even imagine engineering without it. Hi, I'm Corey Dolphin. [music] I'm the head of engineering at Nextdoor supporting our core platform pillar, and this is what Codex unlocks. A lot of it stems from the ability of an individual engineer to take an idea from a concept all the way out to production on all of our different platforms at the same time. [music] This happened most recently thinking about our service providers with opportunity alerts where a single engineer was able to quickly identify that there was an issue. Over 105 million people [music] use Nextdoor across 11 countries and 350,000 neighborhoods. So, a lot of the challenges that our teams focus on is how can we really get the best product [music] to those different users? We really see Codex as superpower as tackling some of the most difficult technical problems that we have. When we can't figure out a solution or when an engineer has maybe bashed their head against the same problem for a while, they turn to Codex as that reliable [music] companion to help them deep dive on a subject.
