Vaughan Primary Case Study

Making a noticeable difference to teaching and learning with Vaughan Primary School: Vaughan Primary School were struggling with lacklustre day-to-day IT support that just patched together equipment that was clearly beyond its working life. This approach cost a great deal of money and didn’t contribute to strategic development of their IT strategy. When we started working with the school in 2020, our first step was to listen to, and work with, their School Business Leader Kirsten Beaven and other staff to understand how their IT affected their daily teaching practice, and how the school wanted to develop. This included an Audit and Action plan we created using educational standard benchmarks and practice to set a baseline and carry out a gap analysis to help focus on which areas needed the most development. Most importantly, we knew that the school needed solutions that could affect substantial change without disruption. Our Accountability, Courage, and Honest values played a strong part in this journey.
