Top Gun Three: Tom Cruse vs ChatGPT

Top Gun 3 has just been announced, and this time it's Tom cruise versus Chat GPT. (Just Kidding) The Air Force put out a press release this week saying that in a simulated dogfight, an AI enabled air fighter was enabled to outmaneuver, outperform, and ultimately win against a human pilot. Does this mean that our pilot friends are obsolete? Does this mean that there's no hope for us corporeal beings? I wouldn't be so quick to point to that yet.
