These Farmers Work Lying Down

These farmers remove weeds while lying in bed. In the Netherlands, some carrot farms use moving platforms with mattresses and pillows so workers can float above the crops instead of bending over all day. As the platform slowly moves through the field, workers pull weeds by hand with incredible precision while staying surprisingly comfortable. It looks lazy at first but it’s actually designed to reduce back pain and exhaustion during long hours of farm work. Because when you spend all day working just inches above the ground, your back gets destroyed fast.
