welcome to the educational impact teacher evaluation practice center this unique program allows you to practice your evaluation skills then compare your ratings with the experts the program uses a series of videos and teacher artifacts to simulate the teacher evaluation process you will be asked to gather evidence as you watch a video of a complete classroom lesson you will also be provided with a video of the pre and post conferences so you can listen in as the teacher reflects on the lesson observed lastly for those competencies that can't be evaluated from a classroom observation we have provided you with a series of teacher artifacts and other documents or photos to help you gather evidence and determine performance levels to complete your practice evaluation we have included a series of evaluation forms that can be found in the handouts section of the corresponding video segment these forms are based on the most popular teacher evaluation rubrics and models currently used in k-12 education if your school system uses a unique rubric or evaluation form not found in the handouts you will need to obtain these forms from your central office administrator once you have collected evidence and assigned performance levels you have the unique ability to compare your ratings with the evaluation results compiled by experts you will not only be able to compare performance ratings but also be able to see the evidence they collected and used for each evaluation component to assure practice evaluation integrity we have only provided the experts evaluation results to your central office administrator once you have completed the practice evaluation please check with your central office administrator to obtain further instructions through the powerful new AI platform your school system also has the ability to establish customized discussion boards and other online forums that allow you to discuss your results and evaluation observations with your colleagues this is a great way to establish collaborative professional learning communities and improve interrater reliability we hope that through the extensive use of this practice Center the task of evaluating teachers becomes less daunting and your evaluations are consistent fair and most importantly reliable
