A big boy watch for big boy entrepreneurs, but if you're a big boy entrepreneur, you know you can't write this off and you're not trying to write this off. Beginning entrepreneurs want to buy a Rolex for marketing to be able to elevate themselves, to be able to attract more clients, and then they go to their CPAs and say, "Hey, I was able to attract more high-level clients because I bought one of these. Can we write this off?" And if their CPA is smart, they're going to tell them no. You're not writing this off because it's not an ordinary, necessary, and reasonable expense to the pursuit of income for your business. Oh, I get it. I know you want to work with high-level people. I know you want to work with rich millionaires. Just because you're wearing a watch for business does not mean it's a tax write-off for you. Please don't put this on your tax returns unless you're in the watch business yourself.
