Startup Calling: from idea to impact using entrepreneurship

Original Description

If you want to build a start-up, here you will learn how to do it! In Startup Calling, created by Bocconi University and B4i – Bocconi for Innovation, we will explore every essential step in launching a start-up and making an impact: from identifying a real problem to defining your value proposition, from market validation to presenting your project to investors. B4i is Bocconi University's entrepreneurial hub that supports founders and early-stage teams in the pre-acceleration and acceleration phases by providing mentoring, workshops and access to investors. Together with Bocconi University professors (Prof. Andrea Fosfuri and Prof. Nicola Misani), you will meet some of the most successful entrepreneurs in Italy's start-up ecosystem: Alberto Dalmasso (Satispay), Luca Rossettini (D-Orbit), Davide Dattoli (Talent Garden), Mattia Montepara (Sibill), Danila De Stefano (Unobravo), Gianluca Cocco (Qomodo), Nadia Neytcheva (Doctorsa), Davide D'Atri (Soundreef), Chiara Schettino (Rosso) and Alessandra Cestaro (Holifya). In addition, other experts, trainers and teachers will be involved in the course, including Nico Valenti Gatto (B4i), Raffaele Mauro, Augusto Coppola, Paolo Lombardi and Giacomo Poggiali. Through their stories, you will understand what it really means to do business today, amid challenges, mistakes, changes of direction and unexpected opportunities. During the course, you will learn to: - define and analyse a real problem, understanding emotions, frequency and inevitability through tools such as Jobs To Be Done and effective interviews; - identify your customers and early adopters, gathering relevant feedback and recognising the main cognitive biases that influence business decisions; - formulate hypotheses and turn them into experiments, using quick and low-cost tests; build targeted, inexpensive MVPs capable of generating reliable data; - analyse the market and competition, estimate TAM/SAM/SOM and evaluate the potential of your idea; design a sustai
