Hi, if we haven't met, I'm Lisa. I have taught chemistry online for a cyber charter school in Pennsylvania for 15 years. I believe that middle school and high school science classrooms are a place for students curiosity to run wild, a place where collaboration is commonplace and critical thinking skills are cultivated. That's why this channel is called Lab in Every Lesson because the more consistently we can offer opportunities for our students to engage in dynamic explorations and really hone their science skills. They are going to better learn those science facts. To bring science to life in that environment, I had to rely on technology. But even if I were to go work a different job and move to a face-to-face environment tomorrow, I would take all of my edtebased lessons with me. Teaching science the lab in every lesson way. That is through inquiry with action and using technology because we believe science is a superpower. One that can impart the skills our children need to make unbiased, informed decisions for the rest of their lives. We believe science is a life skill.
