In this video, I'm going to show you the quickest way to install conversion API on your website. Listen, if you are running Facebook advert, you don't want to be relying only on Facebook pixel because after the iOS update, Facebook pixel can or no longer track people who are using iPhone or MacBook. So, you want to use conversion API to still be able to track these people. Okay. How do you install conversion API on your website? It's a very simple process. First of all, you must have a Facebook account and you must have your website. So your Facebook ad account and your website. That's all you need. Now [snorts] this is our Facebook ad account. What we need to do is to come here and click on event manager. So that we will go to where we can find the pixel that we have created. This is not a video on how to create pixel and all of that. There is a video in the description. But we're also we're just going to go to data sources. data sources and we'll be able to see how we can pick up a code from that place and then we'll set it up on our website. So you come to this setting please click on setting and let's go down to where we can find this token. So you go down go down until you find generate access token. Generate access token. Okay, let's click on it and then it's going to say generate access token. So, it's going to generate our token right now and once it is done, you're just going to copy it and come to your website. Now, we're going to install a pixel called pixel your site. So, come to plugins, come to add plugins. There is it's just a very simple way to install plug-in on any WordPress website. So plugin add plugin and then we'll type pixel your site pixel just type this thing there and you are going to see the plugin pixel your site and this is the plugin right here pixel your site so we're going to click on install once we're done installing we'll be able to now activate okay but let's first of all install the plugin and sometime if it is delaying like this it might just a network or some glitches, but definitely going to install. Now, our plug-in has been installed. So, we're just going to tap on activate. Let's activate the plug-in right away. And the next thing we do here, remember that we have copied a token from Facebook. Okay. Next thing we do here, we're going to open the plugin. Let's open the plugin. Okay. And here it says your meta pixel. Now you can see that there is a space for meta pixel and there's a space for conversion pixel. So what we're going to do is we're going to paste conversion API rather because that is what we have copied because if we are installing pixel we can also copy the pixel and place here. If you want to install the pixel I've already done a video on how to do that but then I can just go ahead and copy this and also paste it here. Okay. Now I'm going to go down. I'm going to come here to copy the event code. How do you see the event code? So this you are going to click on test event. Confirm that the server event are set up correctly. So you're going to copy this test event code and then you are pasting. Once you have pasted it, please come down here and click on save changes. Click on save changes. The code that we just impute is going to be saved on pixel your site. So next thing we want to do is to come here to make sure that the website event are set up correctly. We are going to put in our website URL. So let me pick up my website URL here. And then I'm just going to put it here and I'll click on test event. So, the website is going to open and I can just go ahead and scroll through it, look through it, and then I'm going to go back to check if the pixel and the API was able to track. But let the website open first so that I can show you. So, I can scroll through it, you know, just go through the website. What I'm doing here is just so that they can detect that, oh, the website was opened. So, go through it. Scroll through the website. Then you can go back here and refresh this. Let's refresh this. Now the moment you refresh it, you are going to see page view processed today at 9:32 because this is the exact time. Are you seeing it now? What this means is that your pixel and your API is already working. So if you now want to create an event where you can track a particular page, that is already another thing we can do in another video. But this is exactly how you can install your conversion API. If you found this video helpful, please make sure you subscribe to my channel and turn on notification bell for more videos like this. I'm going to see you in the next video.
