[music] My name is Bavani Hogati. I'm the CEO of Pardo Solisters and we are based in Somerset. Uh I also head the DB resolution team. We've adopted Lexus Nexus AI because it's part of our initiative to be as efficient and [music] supportive of our team in the business as we can be. So we started looking at various efficiencies starting with legal knowledge research how we could help the staff with that [music] and we've now actually just appointed a chief compliance and and technology officer to take that [music] further. how we use access Nexus AI particularly if I give you an example of myself as a fee earner and a litigator. It saves me an enormous amount of time. I rarely do research on me because I'm so long in the tooth that I actually know the answer to, but it's so helpful to actually have that come back [music] to me. So, I use the AI whereby I put in um some research I need to do or an answer to something which I I think I know, but I just need to have that source material to back it up. And it honestly will it probably saves me a good couple of hours to actually instead of slogging through the source material myself to get basically what is a summary. Um, but Lexus Nex AI goes further in that it will actually draft you a letter or a research note if you need it. [music] The well the reassurance it gives us is that the Lexus Nexus AI is all used through the Lexus Nex Nexus um AI platform. So unlike chat GPD um it is a safe environment. There are no hallucinations and you can trust that what is it's being based on is UK law as opposed to pulling threads from all over the world or like I say actually making things up. The qualifyers um on the basis that they will more or less know what they're looking for. So instead [music] of spending hours researching, they can just shortcut it by [music] getting that research done for them. But if they need to double check, the source material is there. So it it it does help a lot. And I've spoken highly about it to other people I know. Um I have a lot of peer group friends who are lawyers. um and and also to people who aren't lawyers as to how AI can help cuz there's a lot of uncertainty out there as to whether AI is good or is it beginning of some sort of evil domination you know um and I wanted to give a positive story of something as as to how it has helped particularly in the light of you know the issues chat GPT have had with regard to the say we have been very very pleasantly surprised. We took a risk. You know, we're not you know the largest of firms and um you know we were one of the first to sign up because we really wanted to support our staff, make their lives easier. That's how we see the efficiencies is to ensure that our staff have the best working day they can which then results in the best client service we can provide.
