OpenClaw just dropped a massive update and we're testing it together today. If you've never heard of OpenClaw, here's a simple version. So, imagine having a your own personal AI assistant that works inside your phone, your computer, your Slack, your Telegram, your Discord, basically everywhere you already spend your day. That is OpenClaw. And a lot of people are sleeping on this one. So, this is the GitHub from OpenClaw like you can see. Um, and now the team have just pushed out version 2026, the 17th of February. This isn't just a small update. This is one of those, wait, they added what kind of drops? We're talking about OpenClaw now running with Claude's newest and most powerful brain, Sonic 4.6. That means smarter answers, better understanding, and faster results. They also added something called a million context window. So that means basically you can give your AI assistant more to deal with because you've got core sonic 4.6 running inside there. And for iPhone users, you can now share everything, a link, a photo, a piece of text directly to Open Core from any app on your phone. They also fixed a bunch of bugs, made voice call smarter, made memory searches better, even tightened up security. The update is big. So, let's get straight into it. So, one of the first things that you can see inside uh open claw if you start running it here is you can use a prompt like this, which I'll show you in a second to get more stylized inline messages. Right? So, you see how we've got like for example check weather, set, reminder, run a command. Basically, this is more of an interesting um setup inside the dashboard. This is claw open core aka uh running inside the open core and you can see here that we've got anthropic running 4.6 via an API key right so we can use sonet 4.6 Now, I will warn you, this took a lot of work to set up, right? It wasn't just like update and it was done. No, no, no, no. It was actually a lot more work than that. So, I was running Sonet 4.5 previously and it wouldn't just update directly. I just want to warn you there. So the way that I did this is I actually uninstalled openclaw and then reinstalled with the new version of um openclaw from github and also made sure that inside the terminal when I was running through the demon that we actually uh picked clawson 4.6 as the API. Now once you've done that you can then for example say okay send styled inline messages for a demo and you can see an example of what you'll get back in a second but basically you get like this really interesting quick actions list and it's like okay what do you want to do now? Do you want the weather? Do you want a web search? Do you want to set reminder? Do you want the status? Etc. Um, and it does a quick system check as well. So, you see here it says, okay, here's a host. Here's the model we're using, is the location, all systems good to go, right? And it's like, okay, tap below to take an action so you can report an issue or you can click on all good here. And then you can go directly from there. Rari says, I recently watched your Claude 4.6 live session fully and it was really useful. Thank you. Happy to help. Thank you so much. And then we're going to click on an example. Like we can say set reminder here. And you can see clawbot now begins to type, right? It's like sure, what do you want to be reminded about? Right? And it's like, okay, uh here's a couple of examples. So remind me about the meeting tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. We can click on that as an example. Hit enter. And now we're good to go. I will say this whole experience of using OpenClaw is so much better when you're using something like Claudson 4.6. So just going to tell you right there. And also Claude Sonic 4.6 is cheaper than using something like Opus 4.6, but the benchmarks and the actual experience and the quality of the outputs you get are at very similar levels. So, you can see it says done. I'll send you a reminder tomorrow. Boom. Shakalaka. We're good to go on that. Right. And what we can also do as well is we can say send long message. Now, this is an update that came out recently, not the 17th of February. I think it was the 16th of February one. And basically what this does is it will give you like a stream of the message as it goes through the longer message, right? So you get like this Telegram streamed messages which you didn't have before. Uh which is quite useful as well. So you can see what it's doing in real time basically. As you can see here, it can send long messages and it just looks a lot nicer and that sort of thing as well, right? And then you can reply with emojis here. You can uh cuz it's got this new feature of like the inline messages. You can do accurate or rude and reply to it right there. And it's like glad we understand each other. And it gives me the lobster emoji. Another option that we got as well is we can just check what API using. So we'll type that in. And then you can see we're using the newest update from Claude which is Claude Sonic 4.6, right? Um and you can edit it from there. Autoari says is there any limits like using the token of the model in the open claw. So if you if you're using open claw it's only as limited as the API you're using right. So for example if you're on like a free plan and you're using say uh Kim Kat V on the free plan via O Lama then that will have token limits. It will have weekly usage limits and then also session limits that reset daily as well. So, uh, it really depends on the API you're using and you can set limits with the API as well inside the console that you're using too. So, if you want to see like the full change log of everything that's changed, you can see like it's apparently it's one of the longest ones they've ever done. Um, and you can see all the changes have been added here, right? So, you've got agents anthropic add optin 1 million context for Opus and Sonet. So, it can support longer ones and then I think you just use Yeah. So, you've got you can opt in for that as well. Agent model. So, it's got the new agent model from Claude Sonic 4.6. Six, you can command sub aents as well. So you can spawn sub aents, which is pretty cool as well. I think you either do that inside the chat or the terminal. Not 100% sure here. Let's have a look here. So if we go inside open claw, we'll paste this in. So we can use that as a command, I think. Let's see if that works. And then it will give you the details on like what sub aents you're using, I assume. And it will give you the agent ID and the task, right? Plus the model and the thinking level. So, I assume if you've got multiple APIs plugged into this, you could see the name of the agent, the task that sub agent is working on, the model that's been assigned to that sub agent, and also like the level of reasoning that's being used for that, too. Brian says, "Where do you get Skybot?" So, you go to Skywork, as you can see right here. Link in the comments in description, and then you can go from there, right? And you can start using Skybot directly here, as you can see. So, you just go to skywork.ai. Andreas says, "Hey, everyone." Then Faka says, "Are you worried of Anthropic not being able to use Anthropic anymore?" Well, I mean like if you're using the API, right, you're doing it the right way. But if you're using oorthth, that's probably where you need to be careful. I I never recommend Oorth for uh Claude on YouTube. Um simply because there's been there's like some debate whether you can or can't use it, right? For me personally, I just use the API directly with Claude and that way you know I've got no issues. But if you're using oalf with Claude, then obviously you have to be more careful. All right. So what else we got here? We've got iOS talks. You can add a background listening toggle that keeps talk mode active whilst the app app is uh backgrounded which is pretty cool. Guy says what are the costs of Skybot? So if you want to use Skybot which is um an alternative to Open Claw like you can see right here has its own sort of desktop. You can try on a free trial and then if you want to use it more it's like $49 a month something like that. You can also add stream your models inside Slack for the new update of Open Claw. You've got the inline button. You've got usage, uh, user message reactions with the emoji and that sort of thing. iMessage support as well. So, it's just so many different updates right here. Like, it's it's pretty much endless. I've never seen such a long change log from open claw. It's pretty crazy. So, if you want to get access to that, um, feel free to update your open claw. Like I said, I have to uninstall it. If you want to learn how to uninstall it, um, I've got the instructions inside the AR profit boardroom. So if you just control and f uninstall inside the air profitable bottom, you can see the uninstall instructions right there. I had to run that through my terminal to to get it set up. If you do do that, make sure that you actually um you want to make sure that when you're using it, you export any files you need before you uninstall it as well. And and then yeah, you're good to go. Ryder says, "What are you doing?" So right now we are running through the new update of Open Claw from from the 17th of February. And um what we've also got inside the agent a profitable board in here is the openclaw agent OS framework. Right. So what is openclaw? Open claw is a free open source AI agent. It's kind of like an operating system. It can connect to claude GBT, Gemini, etc. Slack, Telegram, Discord, iMessage. Um and it can run these tasks that are scheduled 24/7. All right. Now, the framework that I recommend for the agent OS stack is that you've got your brain, which is the AI model you're using. So for example like Claude or Sonnet um or Gemini etc. You've got the OS which is open claw itself. You got the channels which is layer 3 and that's where this lives. So it can live inside Slack or Telegram. I wouldn't recommend email for using this. I think honestly from what I've seen like either use the local gateway or use uh Telegram directly. I found those are best. And then layer four is the automations right? So the sub agents that you can spawn and also the chron jobs aka the schedule tasks that you can run as well. And then layer five is the memory. Right? So it has five different layers to the agent OS stack with open claw. Right? You've got the brain aka the AI model, the OS which is open claw, the channels that you run it from, the automations aka the scheduled task and the sub aents and then the final layer is the memory itself. Right? Most people get stuck at layer one. Um but really you want to be using all five layers here because this is how you get the most out of open claw. Right? So what does the update mean? you know, what's the new stuff that actually matters, etc. So, Claude Sonnet is now natively supported um inside open claw. Number two, you've got sub agent spawning. So, you can now spawn multiple agents from one single command, which is pretty cool. And you can have multiple worker agents running parallel tasks. Basically, like having a team that works on the same task, you've got iOS um extension share. So, you can see that right here. This is an iOS share extension that forwards shared URL, text, and images content directly to the gateway, which is pretty cool. has background listening in talk mode. So your AI voice agent can stay active in the background if you want to toggle that on. So you could be like walking or training or do doing whatever and still talk to your open call which is pretty cool as well. And then you got native slack streaming. You've got the telegram button styles which already shown 1 million context window for opus and sonic. So you can feed much more context to open core and that you know if you're running it for a business that could be like your entire business SOP or your full sales script or your complete knowledge base etc. And then you've got improvements on scheduled tasks, so they're more stable, more accurate. I actually found these were quite unstable before because they would break a lot. The memory and search has been upgraded. So the agents memory now has full text search and query expansion, which means it could just find stuff faster. And then you've also got more security batches as well, right? So that's basically how you can do this. And then, you know, you can use a prompt like this. You could say, okay, you're my business AI assistant. When I message you, help me draft content, answer questions, uh, suggest automation ideas, right? always reply in like five sentences or less, something like that, right? You could also, for example, set up a chron job. So, you could set up a schedule task that, for example, pulls the top three AI news stories of the day, summarize them in three bullet points, and post them to Telegram automatically, right? You could go inside here, go back to Telegram, inside Open Claw, and then if we go inside here, we can say, okay, every morning, search for the most important AI news stories from the last 24 hours. Summarize each in three sentences. Post the summary inside telegram keep it punchy and useful for a busy entrepreneur and then it can just go off and schedule the task. Beta plug says what models are you using to run openclaw? So we are using claude sonet to run it. I've used chat GBT codeex that was pretty good. Pony alpha was another one which turned out to be GLM 5. And then also you've got for example Miniax and Kimmy K2.5. If you go to the AR profit board section here, um you can see you've got a full section on like how to run this for free. So you've got four free options, right? You can run Miniax and you get 7 days on the Miniax plan coding plan if you use OAR with that. You can use Kim K 2.5 via OAM. You could use codeexos which is for a limited time free. And then the one that I'm not sure if it's still available cuz GLM5 has already launched is Pony Alpha as well, which was available for free on Open Router. If it's not available for free anymore, you want to just watch out for like stealth models that get released because what these AI companies do is they'll test something out on Open Router, release it as a stealth model, you get free APIs that you can install into Open Router, and then you can run them for free like that as well. Yeah. So, like Flying says, Pony Alpha is gone, but again, just watch out for new stealth models that come out. Ryder says, "Are in your open claw, are you using the virtual machine or your main computer?" I use my main computer. I don't use a virtual machine. Yeah. And then you can see an example of what we've got right here. So, I'm going to say, "Okay, give me a test run." Now, this is for the scheduled task for AI automation news. Flavin says, "If Skybot works, would you cancel subscriptions AI models like Claude?" I wouldn't because I, you know, I use Claude in different ways to something like Skywalk or Open Claw. So, I like to use all of them. Bear in mind like I have to test all these tools all the time as well. So, I'm probably in a quite a different situation to most people, but if you wanted to, potentially you could. Chuck says, "Can you create a summary of comments from your own school community?" You could. We've uh I've done that before with a Chrome extension. Right. So, what you can do is you can connect OpenClaw to Chrome extensions, right? So, if we go inside here, we type in um Chrome extensions, you can see how to set up Chrome extensions right here. Right. So, it shows you exactly how to set this up and um you can install that and then it can like operate inside your Chrome. It could go into my school, collect all the latest comments and then summarize them that way. That would be the way that you do it. All right. So, that is basically it for the newest update from Open Claw. I've walked you through what it means, what the changes are, how it works, etc. How to get it set up.
