Three friends, a camera, and AI. That and a weekend of work is all it takes to time travel these days! Enjoy "Old News", the latest hybrid live action / AI project I worked on last weekend with Robert Sladeczek directing and Joshua Burkert behind the camera. Using DaVinci Resolve, we combined our footage with AI-generated elements created with Firefly, Flux, ChatGPT, Runway Gen-4 and Kling 2.0 on Freepik. We wanted to one-up our viral AI cowboy from a month ago by actually telling a fun short narrative. So Robert planned out this sketch idea, and then we ran through a low-traffic neighborhood in Munich wearing silly hats while Joshua chased us with his Blackmagic cinema camera! What do you think?
