Hi everyone. I'm Jenny Magiera from the Google for Education team. At Google, we know that tomorrow's breakthroughs and innovations start today in the classroom where educators like you lead the charge in shaping the next generation of thinkers and doers. But, we also know that the biggest barrier to innovation is not the lack of ideas, it's the lack of time. When I was an educator, I would try and take professional learning courses and if they were anywhere over an hour, I just I couldn't fit them in. Investing in myself and my own learning and growth, that usually fell to the wayside. So, what we tried to do is we looked at the schedules of busy K-12 and higher ed educators and we said, "What's the smallest amount of time that you could have a meaningful learning experience?" And let's break up the professional learning into these bite-sized micro-sessions. [music] That's why we've partnered with ISTE to create the Google AI Educator Series. It's a practical, hands-on professional learning series designed to help you navigate the world of AI with confidence. Whether you want to streamline prep, foster critical thinking, or personalize learning for every student, we've built snackable and stackable sessions to meet your specific goals. These sessions are snackable because they're bite-sized and they're stackable because you can combine them to create custom learning paths if you have a longer block of time. Although they're laid out chronologically, each session is a stand-alone resource. No prerequisites, no mandatory sequences. You can jump straight into the specific tool or solution you need right now. I'm really excited about Google AI Educator Series because it's meant to be flexible and ever-evolving. As an educator, technology coming into my classroom, it was really hard to keep up with everything. I taught math, so even keeping up with like the newest math pedagogies and strategies was one part of my brain, keeping up with all the constantly shifting diverse needs of each of my learners was another part of my brain. And then you bring technologies and tools in it. Oh my gosh, forget about it. We wanted to make sure that when they're bringing the technology into the classroom, it's for a reason. It's to serve the purpose of teaching and learning and not just bringing more clutter into the space. All of these sessions align to the ISTE Standards for Educators or faculty [music] and the ISTE profile of an AI-ready graduate, focusing on a specific use case. For example, if you're a K-12 educator, you might explore grade-level specific tools like using Gemini to create custom math materials. Or, if you work in higher ed, you could try using Google Notebook LM to transform dense research into interactive guides that truly engage your students. Every session is accompanied by a short [music] assessment. When you show what you know, you'll earn an official digital badge from Google to share with your peers, your institution, or your broader network. >> [music] >> This is professional development that integrates right into your daily work. A huge part of Google AI Educator Series is you. The community of practice will be giving us feedback and helping us improve and iterate on it over time. And we're going to be constantly hearing from you and building the series, iterating on the series based on your needs. One of the things to know is it's not about how much you did or how much you've accomplished. If you're super overwhelmed, just scroll through. Find the session [music] that speaks to you. Take 15 minutes, 30 minutes, do that one, and call it a day. Just like we tell our students, you can chunk and scaffold your way to learning, this is meant to be a scaffolded way for you to approach AI. Whether you're an AI super user who's already vibe coding or you've been holding off because the two letters AI give you massive anxiety. Either way, this is the series for you and we can't wait [music] for you to dive in. It's bite-sized, it's ISTE Standards aligned, and [music] most importantly, it's designed to help you leverage Google AI to transform your practice >> [music] >> and improve teaching and learning opportunities for every student in your classroom. Educators are the heart of education and AI is the assistant to help you get things [music] done so you can focus on teaching. Head on over to g.co/ges to get started. We can't wait to see what you create.
