Introducing Quest to Compile: A Show for Game Devs Building in .NET
Modern game development covers a lot of ground, and it's only getting more complex. Engines keep evolving, tooling keeps shifting, and AI is becoming another tool in the workflow.
Quest to Compile is a new show where two siblings, both game developers, dig into how games are built today in the .NET ecosystem. Some episodes will dive into hands-on fundamentals: gameplay programming, user interface, debugging, version control with Git, and the engines, tooling, and workflows that tie it all together. Others will look at newer ground, like AI-assisted development with GitHub Copilot, and figure out where it earns a place in the workflow and where it doesn't.
The first episode goes live May 7. Save the Quest to Compile playlist to catch every episode in one place, no matter which channel it lands on: https://aka.ms/Quest-to-Compile
