I walk through how I test Claude Opus 4.8 with real prompts inside Claude.
I try Claude Opus 4.8 for coding, reasoning, HTML apps, dashboards, and Claude Code. I also compare some results with Claude Opus 4.7 so I can see what feels better, what works faster, and what still needs work.
I use Claude Opus 4.8 to build a simple city game, an AI history timeline, a 3D solar system, a kid-friendly science lesson, a retro Space Jam style website, and a data dashboard. I also test Claude Code with max reasoning effort to see how it handles a bigger project.
I also show the new reasoning effort controls in Claude, how max effort changes the output, and where Claude Opus 4.8 is available. This includes the Claude website, Claude Code, Claude co-work, and the API.
This is a simple hands-on look at Claude Opus 4.8, Claude AI, Claude Code, AI coding, AI dashboards, HTML apps, and the new reasoning effort settings.
