Interviewing for Impact: Designing & Conducting Effective Hiring Conversations helps you master the art of structured, fair, and effective interviews that go beyond gut instincts. You’ll learn to apply proven frameworks, question design techniques, and bias-reduction strategies to make confident, consistent hiring decisions. Through videos, interactive tools, and real-world scenarios, you’ll practice building interview guides, evaluating candidate responses, and applying behavioral methods like STAR and CAR. In Module 1: Foundations of Effective Interviewing, you’ll explore interview types, deconstruct job descriptions, and design competency-based behavioral and situational questions. You’ll also discover how structured interview formats and listening frameworks improve reliability and predict job fit. In Module 2: Conducting Interviews and Making Hiring Decisions, you’ll learn how to prepare as an interviewer, create positive candidate experiences, use rubrics and scorecards for evaluation, and conduct collaborative debriefs. You’ll also analyze common hiring biases and practice inclusive interviewing techniques.
