What is InsurTech, really? Not software. Not digital MGAs. Not a new class of technology companies. For Danilo Raponi, InsurTech is everything we do to ensure insurance remains relevant in the future. That the industry can renew itself and be there for what customers actually want and need, not just what we think the best products are. The technology is a means to an end. Distribution is the big prize. And the irony is that the more insurance companies try to become tech companies themselves, the further they drift from the thing that actually makes them valuable.
