Welcome to Runway Academy. Today, we're exploring the Runway video agent. Agent is a new tool inside of Runway designed to help you create a finished edited video. You can find agent in the left side panel. Then, start by describing the type of video you want to create. As you type, the agent UI will change showing you optional image reference upload slots and suggested settings that best fit the video prompt. You can either go with what the agent suggests or choose new options. Then, if you have specific images you'd like to use to create the video, upload them in the appropriate image slots. If you don't have any, that's fine. Agent will create them when we click create my outline. Agent will now get to work building a video summary, generating any necessary visual elements that you may have forgotten, and writing a general story structure. From here, you can choose new settings, edit any of the items directly, or just ask agent to make changes for you. Try asking for edits to an image, changing up the story, or refining the tone. Agent is there to help you craft the perfect narrative. Once you've dialed everything in, click on generate your video. Now, agent will get started creating your video in the background. This part can take a few minutes, so feel free to explore some of the new Runway apps in the meantime, and we'll notify you when your video is ready for viewing. Once it's done, you'll see your edited video in timeline view, which you can now make edits to if you need. Maybe you want to remove a clip entirely, shorten the duration of a clip, turn the music volume down, swap the order of a couple of shots, or add an animated logo at the end. The editing choices are up to you. Then, download your video locally, and you're done.
