In today's video, I'm going to teach you how to improve Google page speed using Cloudflare. Head straight to Cloudflare. From your main dashboard, choose the domain you want to optimize. On the left sidebar, find speed and open it. Start in observatory. This view shows how your zone has been performing over the past 24 hours and gives specific datadriven suggestions. Use the summary panel and click view all to dive deeper into opportunities that affect page speed like render blocking resources or large assets. Next, still under speed, open real user monitoring. If it's disabled, enable it so you can see metrics from real visitors, things like LCP, INP, and CLS that page speed relies on. In the web analytics time frame selector, switch between the last minutes or hours to spot patterns and recent regressions. If you just turned it on, it's normal to see little or no data yet. Once enabled and traffic arrives, the graphs will populate automatically. Move to synthetic monitoring in the sidebar. This lets you run controlled tests to uncover bottlenecks without waiting for real traffic. You'll see your monthly allowance for one-off and scheduled tests. Keep those limits in mind. You can run a single test to validate a change or schedule recurring tests to watch performance over time. For this walkthrough, we'll leave it as is. Open settings under speed and review the recommendations section for quick wins tailored to your site. Continue to image optimization to ensure images are delivered efficiently. Then go to content optimization and toggle on speedbrain, cloudflare fonts, early hints, and rocket loader, speedbrain, and cloudflare fonts. Reduce overhead from thirdparty resources and font delivery. Early hints helps browsers begin fetching key assets even before the final response is ready, and Rocket Loader defers non-critical JavaScript to speed up rendering. After enabling these, test your site to confirm everything behaves as expected. If any script depends on strict load order, consider creating exceptions. Finally, check protocol optimization. Ensuring modern protocols are active shortens connection setup time and improves perceived speed, which helps your page speed scores. That's the workflow to improve Google page speed using Cloudflare. Give your changes a little time. Then review observatory and real user monitoring to confirm improvements and rerun your page speed insights test to see the impact. That's basically it.
