In this video, I'm going to show you two ways to embed YouTube videos inside of the Elementor editor. We have this video right here, which is all about speeding up your website. If you haven't seen it yet, it's a banger. Make sure you watch it after watching this video. The easiest way to embed this video into Elementor is copy this link, go into your WordPress dashboard, and create a new page, add a page, edit with Elementor, and this will open the Elementor editor. And here all we have to do is click on the plus over here. Search for video. The video widget is on the free version of Elementor, which is nice. For the source, use YouTube. Paste in the URL here. And now the video is embedded on this page. And it can be played on the front end like so. And all the regular YouTube features are there, which is great. This embedding of videos is going to keep your site fast because you can also self-host a video, which means you'll host the video file on your server, which uses bandwidth every time that video is played by a visitor on your site. If you want to see how to do that, I'll link to a tutorial in the card up above, but I recommend you use YouTube or another platform like Vimeo, Dailymotion, Video Press to add videos to your site because that saves your bandwidth. So, I promised you a second way to embed a video. The easiest way was this one, but it's also the least flexible. There's not much we can edit in regards to the video itself. So, let's show you a little bit harder, but more flexible way. Go back to the video page. Find the share button. Click on it. Click on the embed button. This is the embed code here. We can choose to start the video at a certain point. We can choose to show player controls. We can choose to enable privacy enhanced mode. Just choose whatever settings you want there. Then click on copy and inside of the element editor, search for HTML. Drag that over. And then paste the HTML code right there. The height is not right. So we need to adjust that. 900's not right either. You got to get the the perfect aspect ratio. That's pretty close. close enough. You'd want to use a calculator to find out if the video is 16 by9 and this is the width you want. What's the height you need for that? That's kind of a pain, but you can have it the video size specific to exactly how you want it. Just deleting the height doesn't work either. So, you have to have them both set. But what this allows is here under the allow parameter, we have these options. So, currently on this video, there is the accelerometer. I'm not sure what that does. There's autoplay, clipboard, write, encrypted media, gyroscope, pictureand picture, and web share. These are all the options or a bunch of the options associated with this video. When we view it on the front end though, it looks pretty much the exact same as the other one. So, the embedding, the video itself is pretty much the exact same, but we have more flexibility in being able to edit these things. You can even Google YouTube allow embed options and you can add different ones in here to increase or reduce how much is available on your video. On YouTube, the one they allow is show player controls. So, if we copy this now without the player controls and then publish that. Let's put our height back to something a little more respectable. That's better. So, come back out here. Refresh. Now, if we play the video, when I hover over, there's no controls. I can't stop it. Well, I can't stop it. I click on it to stop it. The video controls that are usually down here are gone. And there's a whole bunch of other options like that that you can do with the embed functionality from YouTube. Just Google the different options. There's a ton. If you got value from this video, click like and subscribe to let me know. Then check out this video on your screen right now, which is all about speeding up your website. Follow the steps in this video. I can almost guarantee your site's gonna be faster. Unless you're already optimized, then it won't be. But if you haven't done any optimization yet, this video is going to help you out a lot. So, make sure you check that out and I'll see you
