In this tutorial, I'll be walking you through a software that makes it easy for even a complete beginner to host an event as I'll be showing you step by step how to use HeySummit. So, we're going to tap on start 14-day free trial. Once you have done that, you'll be redirected to this page. From here, you're just going to input your name, email address, and then what best describes you. After you have done that, you'll toggle on agree with terms and privacy policies. Then you're going to tap on sign up for free. After you have selected sign up for free, you'll be redirected to your dashboard. Once on your dashboard, it is now time to create your first event. From here, you're just going to tap on create new event in the top right hand corner. After you have selected create new event, you have a few options. It all depends on the type of event you're planning to host. For example, a one-off workshop, a single day event, a multi-day event, an ongoing series, on demand video library, or video course. So, you have different options. Let's say, for example, we'll be hosting a single day event. So, we're going to select single day. Then, you're going to tap on next. After you have done that, you can put in your event name. So, I'm just going to be calling this event test event. After you have done that, you can put in your company brand. You could also upload your logo. Then select the category. So, for instance, I'm just going to be selecting creator. Then, what stage are you at? I will select that. And we are just about ready to launch. Is there an inperson component? If so, be the case, you can toggle that on. And we're going to tap on create event. After you have selected create event, you're just going to give it a few seconds while it will be creating a sample event for you. We're going to tap on view my event. After selecting view my event, you'll be redirected to your event dashboard. And you can see right here. All you need to do is close this box and we can start setting it up. So just give it a few seconds at it as it is loading up and you're just going to tap on set up. So let's start editing it. The first thing you can see is the event name. Also, if you would like to add registration and check out, you can tap right here and select update. After selecting update, you're going to see a pop-up window appear. From here, registration opens. You can choose whether it will be open now or whether it be public. Event is public and no registration is required. If you'd like to require an email up front, you can toggle on email. If you like to also require the person's name, you can do that. So, you could toggle that on right there. And if you like to show coupons or so on, you can also do that. And you can scroll down and you can ask attendees different questions. As you can see right here, there are multiple features that you can quickly access. So, for example, attendee can you can also set a password and so on. So, we're just going to tap on save. After you have done that, there are other options that you can also add. For example, you can choose whether you like to allow talk and replay experience. If you like to also set up an event lobby, you can do that. You can also go into speaker settings. So, we could tap on update right there. After selecting update, for example, if you want speakers to choose their slot, you can toggle that on. You can scroll down and from there, you can also edit the speakers if you're going to be having speakers at your event. You can also edit the branding where you can upload your logo and so on. If you want, you can also scroll down and if it is a case that you would like to change the domain, for example, you would like to add a custom domain name, you can also do that by selecting custom domain. After doing that, you're going to scroll down and if it is a case that you would like to set up an hybrid version or an inerson version, you could tap on update and you can also change that. So, we could select yes. For example, if we would like it to be hybrid, then we'll tap on save. So, you have different options that you can choose from. Once you're finished setting it up, if it is a case that you would like to offer giveaways, you can toggle that on or off. You can also update your legal and GDPR. And you can also add a promo banner. If you would like to remove the promo banner, you can do that if you want. So, there are numerous options that you're provided with. Now once we're finished doing that, all we'll need to do now we can go over to the left hand menu option. From here you can tap on payment methods. After selecting payment methods this is where you'll be able to for example connect Stripe, PayPal or Razor Pay. So all you'll need to do is tap on manage. Then you can tap on connect and you can input your information. After setting up the payment methods, you can also select integrations. Once you have selected integrations, you can see different platforms that you could integrate it on. For example, your CRM or email integrations if you want, but we're just going to continue along with the tutorial. So, we're going to select emails for example. After selecting emails, you can also use HeySummit to do email marketing. For instance, you can send out a message. As you can see right here, a new talk has ended. There are different email templates that you can choose from if it is a case that you would like to do that. Also, you could select content and from here you'll be able to edit the landing page. So, for instance, you can see different options from the left hand menu option once more. You can tap on categories. From there, you can add a new category by tapping on add category in the top right hand corner. You can input the category title and so on. You could also select speakers and you can add speakers. So at the moment you can see zero speakers. If you would like to add a new speaker you can tap on click here. Once you have selected click here. Once this loads up you'll be able to input in the speakers information. So that's how it typically works. And also by going over to the left hand menu option once more. You'll be able to add your sponsors if you want. You can tap on add sponsors and you'll be able to add your sponsors right there. So the brand name and also their tagline and so on. You can add different information. For instance, you can add your FAQs and so on. And now to set up the ticket pricing. To do this, you'll select revenue. After selecting revenue, you can have free tickets if you want. So you have free access. And if you like to also add paid tickets, you can tap on add ticket. After you have selected add tickets, you can give it a title. So for example, I'll just call it general. Then you can also put in the quantity. So let's say for example 100 will be available and I'm going to to on hide when sold out. You could also add in a short description and you can restrict the attendees with these tickets. You have different restrictions you can quickly add in and you can also scroll down and you can see different editing options right there. Once you're finished you're just going to tap on next. And from there you can see the pricing. You can tap on add if you would like to offer bulk or so on. Then you can choose a day you like it to be recurring or not. Then you can tap on restrictions and you can see different restrictions that you can edit. You can also set up the expiry date. So expire by a particular date or does not expire. You have different options. Then you're just going to tap on save. And you can add multiple tickets. So for example, we have the free ticket. We also have the general ticket. If you'd like to add a VIP ticket, you can do that by tapping on add another ticket. Then you can select preview checkout and you can see how it will look. So this is how it will look at the moment. Once they enter their email address and tap on next. From there they'll be able to select a ticket. Once you're finished and it is to your liking, you're going to select close to save the changes. So we have now added our tickets. After you have done that, you can tap on reports from here. And this is where you'll be able to view the reports. And another thing that I also like with Hey Summit is you can also give persons an affiliate link. So they'll be able to promote your your summit better yet. So you can select affiliates once you're on the paid plan. You'll be able to give them an affiliate link and you'll be able to view the affiliate payout and so on. You can also create coupons if you want. So you could offer coupons for your summit that you're keeping. And if we were to go over to the top right hand corner and select manage from here, you'll be able to edit the landing page. So at the moment, if we were to select view event, you can see how the landing page looks. So this is how our landing page looks. So to edit it, all we need to do, we're going to go back here. We're just going to tap on edit landing page. After you have selected edit landing page, you can edit each section. So for instance, you can tap right here and you can edit your text, whatever you want. You can scroll down and you can change whatever you want. So for example, if we would like to edit the image, you can do that. All we'll need to do is simply hover over the particular section that we like to change. Then you're going to see a pencil icon. You'll tap on that and from the right hand column, for instance, if you like to change the image, you could do that. You can tap right there, replace media. And you could choose to either upload media or browse. And let's say we were to use one of these images, just one of these random images for instance. So let's say this one. And I'll tap on save image. And you'll realize that it replaces this image right there. So that's how you'll be able to do that. And you can scroll down and you can edit each section just like that. It's quite beginner friendly and easy to edit. Once you're finished editing it, we can go back. So we could go back and you can see how it looks right there. And by the way, if it is a case that you like to add different blocks or so on, you can tap on the blocks option in the top right hand column. And from there, you can see different blocks. You can choose to remove or add different blocks. And if you like to see how it would look on a laptop, you can do that. You can see how it would look on a tablet, how it would look on mobile device. So you can get a preview of each option right there. And if we would like to release it. So let's say you would like to publish it now. You can select publish event.
