lemlist (https://go.coldiq.com/lemlist) is an AI All-in-one Sales Engagement Platform generating over $20m/year. It is part of lempire, an umbrella brand including several software products such as Taplio ($7m ARR) & Tweet Hunter ($2m ARR).
Charles Tenot has recently been promoted from COO to CEO of lemlist & lempire to grow the company to $100m in annual recurring revenue.
I got the chance to sit down with Charles and learn about the behind-the-scenes of their growth. This includes their tech stack, the acquisition funnel responsible for growing to 20,000 paying users, how they convert signups to paid users and how their clients use lempire's products.
We also discussed the future of go-to-market acquisition in the era of AI and whether sales could be, one day, entirely automated by artificial intelligence.
