When should you switch from Maximize Clicks to Maximize Conversions in Google Ads?
A lot of advertisers move too early toward automated bidding without giving the campaign enough time and enough conversion data. In this video, I explain my practical approach, especially for lead generation campaigns like real estate Google Ads.

My recommendation:
In many cases, I recommend running a campaign on Maximize Clicks for at least 30 days and collecting at least 20 conversions, ideally 30+ conversions, before testing Maximize Conversions.
This is especially important because user behavior changes during the month. Buyer intent, budget flexibility, weekly patterns, and lead quality can all vary depending on timing.

This is not a one-size-fits-all rule.
Some campaigns perform great on Maximize Conversions. Some do not. The right strategy depends on:
