GenAI Chatbots: Create and Deploy OpenAI-Powered Chatbots

With the increasing demand for personalized and efficient customer service, the rise of chatbots offers organisations a scalable solution to engage with users in real-time and enhance overall customer satisfaction. In the education field, the proliferation of chatbots has revolutionized the way students access information and engage with learning materials. By providing instant, personalized assistance as well as interactive learning experiences, chatbots empower educators to provide more effective support. In this project-based course, we aim to empower learners with the skills to develop an AI-powered chatbot integrated with interactive dashboards. Throughout the course, participants will learn how to leverage FastAPI to build a robust backend API for a chatbot that leverages Retrieval Augmented Generation and OpenAI's natural language capabiilities. The API enables seamless communication with a third-party Dash dashboard. This course is designed for individuals interested in combining AI technologies with web development. No prior experience with FastAPI or Dash is required, but familiarity with Python programming is recommended. The project culminates in the development of a fully functional AI-powered chatbot deployed alongside an interactive dashboard. This hands-on experience offers a practical application of FastAPI and Dash skills, equipping learners with the tools to create innovative chatbot solutions that bridge the gap between AI and web development.
