FoC Evolving Perspective 1 Change Identity is Reimagined
About this lesson
Welcome to the first video in our Futures of Change Evolving Perspectives Series. This research was the first initiative of its kind for the Institute, drawing on nearly 700 participants globally and more than 18,000 data points. We commissioned Futurist Dr Elissa Farrow to lead this research for us. It was not created to predict one certain future. It was created to help us expand the way we think about change, and about what change may become by 2035. Our first evolving perspective is this: Change identity is being reimagined. In practical terms, that means change is moving from the edge of the business into the centre of how organisations operate. By 2035, successful and sustainable change is expected to be treated as a core organisational capability, connected from strategy right through to delivery. In other words, the strongest organisations may be the ones that do not treat change as a one-off event, but as something continuous that they navigate, shape and build into everyday work.
