EKS-D and EKS-A Tech Update & Demo

EKS-D is essentially the Kubernetes distribution used by Amazon EKS. In other words, this is the distribution of K8s that powers EKS. EKS Anywhere provides the Tooling that enables customers to install, provide upgrade, ongoing maintenance (operations) of EKS Distro version of Kubernetes on their own bare metal or virtualized environments based on EKS Distro. In this session I'll walk you through what the new services EKS Distro and EKS Anywhere(aka EKS-D and EKS-A respectively) look like and which use cases they're designed to address. Also, you'll find out how to easily create an EKS cluster with both control and data plane by leveraging EKS-Distro binaries to spin up the underlying infrastructure.
