Double Dash in Excel ✅

Most users have no idea the double dash feature even exists in Excel. But it can fix broken formulas, [music] convert text to numbers, and much more. For example, here suppose I want to know how many numbers are greater than 10. For this, you might think of typing equals, selecting the values, and adding greater than 10 as the criteria. But now, we only get TRs and falses. So, we can't easily sum that. Instead, if we wrap the formula around parenthesis and add two dashes up front, it converts it into ones and zeros. Then, we just need to wrap it around the sum to find the answer. Looking at this other example, the sum function isn't working properly because these numbers are formatted as text.
