A lot of what the curriculum was trying to do was get like too deep into the weeds and I just wanted to do web dev. And web dev isn't really a thing that universities teach that much. Maybe they do nowadays, but back then they were not teaching it that much. And I didn't care about bit shifting. I didn't care about bit masking and like all the the you know, CPU registers. You should maybe understand caching and some of these things, but in the majority of what you're doing, you don't have to care about how you know, the just-in-time compiler works in JavaScript. You can just accept the fact that it's going to do its job. Not saying people shouldn't do that. If you're like passionate and you really want to like get that low level and do it, absolutely. But I just know for me, I'm I'm kind of like an ideas guy that knew I couldn't ever afford to pay people to build the software they want. So I just started learning how to do it for myself.
