alright than my friends so I've just got a few updates to throw your way in this video first of all I just released the first cold challenge yesterday I did post a note about it here on the community tab on this channel but just in case you missed that if you want to take part make sure you go to community dot the net ninja code at UK this link is going to be down below in the video description then scroll down to code challenges so the idea behind this is to put your newfound skills in JavaScript HTML CSS or something else to the test so I'll be running a monthly code challenge one different challenge every month each time with a different theme and the winners of those challenges are going to get things like free merch or free udemy courses or something else so make sure you read all the general rules first of all read this first and then if you want to take part in this month's code challenge click right here so this challenge is to create a winter scene using only CSS and HTML but bonus points are going to be awarded for use in any kind of nice CSS animations so you can't use any kind of external library like jQuery or even any JavaScript at all just CSS and HTML so to submit your entry just reply to this post right here make sure you read all the rules first of all and then I'm going to announce a winner sometime in late January you've got until the 15th of January to get in your submission now the winner of this one is gonna get a free net ninja t-shirt and also a free coupon to get both of my udemy courses of UGS and the d3 one for free as well alright there's so second item on the agenda is just to let you all know I'm gonna be taking a break for about 10 days over Christmas but I am gonna be back very very early in the new year with a new firebase or tutorial series and we're going to be creating a project which looks something like this it's just a mini game guide website so we can post new guides and read about them right here and it's also gonna include custom earth claims such as an admin role or an editor role so well that's going to be pretty fun and this is going to be coming very very early in the new year maybe about the 2nd of January something like that and finally I just want to mention that I'm going to start posting more channel updates on my Instagram account things like sneak previews of new courses I'm working on on new code challenges website updates and maybe even the odd competition too so make sure that you follow me on here if you want to keep up to date with all that my username is at Shawn off the shed and actually I nearly called my youtube channel that when I first wanted thank goodness I didn't and I went with the net ninja instead but anyway make sure you follow me if you want all of those updates you can also get to hear via the website the netbeans your code at UK just click on the Instagram icon that's gonna take you there as well so anyway until the next year my friends I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very happy holiday and I'm gonna see you all very very soon
