Hi,
My name is Chester, and I'll guide you through this lesson that focuses on the process of course design. You will work with your Curriculum Lead to create a blueprint for your course here.
By the end of this lesson, you should have a clear sense of expectations of you and DataCamp team members during the course design phase.
Course design begins with you completing your course specs on GitHub.
To do so, you'll refer to and edit a README file in the GitHub repository sent to you by your Curriculum Lead. The README lays out the different parts of the course design process for you.
This includes building capstone exercises and a complete lesson. You'll do so using our course editor. This builds the foundation for your course.

You'll also train on learning how to be a great DataCamp course instructor here.

In setting your course blueprint during course specs, you'll use GitHub to edit your work and respond to feedback from your Curriculum Lead (AKA your CL). You'll meet weekly with your CL to check-in and discuss progress.
This is where you will set the scope of your course. A rubric containing the criteria used to assess your content exists in your course repo. Please review this often.
You'll first set the high-level vision for your course and determine the cour
