On the June 10, 2025 episode of America’s Got Talent, five Spot robot dogs blew everyone away with a perfectly synced dance to Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now.” The crowd went wild, the judges gave a standing ovation, and all four — Simon Cowell, Mel B, Howie Mandel, and Sofia Vergara — voted YES, sending the robots to the next round. Engineers spent weeks choreographing the performance using Boston Dynamics’ Choreographer software, showing off Spot’s emotional, fluid movements. This was more than a show — it was a bold move to change public perception of robots. Spot is usually seen in factories or labs doing safety inspections and experiments, but now? It’s in the spotlight, dancing and inspiring future roboticists. Boston Dynamics hopes this performance reminds us that robotics and AI aren’t here to replace us — they’re here to help and uplift.
