Key Takeaways

Using Codex Record and Replay feature for repetitive tasks

Full Transcript

Open AI rolled out record and replay. You can call upon this record and replay. They will record a video of you doing something on your computer, learn how to do that thing, and then in the future, you can just tell it to do that thing again. So, the example they give here is watch me upload this YouTube video so you can handle these uploads for me in the future. And it watches the video, understands what he did, creates a new skill out of it, and now he can go back and he gives it a PNG file, I'm guessing for the thumbnail, a video file, and a subtitle file, drags and drops them into his Codex chat box and says, "Upload this YouTube video using the YouTube upload skill that we created." It then goes and does the exact same steps. [music] It selects the file, it grabs it from his computer, it uploads it, grabs the thumbnail, grabs the subtitle file, saves it as private. That's pretty handy.

Original Description

Codex can now watch your screen, learn what repetitive tasks you need done, and then do them for you. OpenAI just dropped a new feature called "Record and Replay" and it’s the ultimate cheat code for repetitive tasks. First, you record yourself doing a task once and the AI will watch your screen, understand your clicks, and turn that task into a brand-new "skill" that it saves. Then, the next time you need to do this task, just drop whatever context you need into the chat box and tell it to use the skill it saved. What is the FIRST repetitive task you would let this AI copy for you? Let me know in the comments👇 #OpenAI #AI #ProductivityHacks #AInews #chatgpt
