ChatGPT and Language Education

This video is a demonstration of OpenAI’s ChatGPT language model and a discussion of its implications for language education. This video was recorded on December 5, 2022, six days after the release of ChatGPT. The speaker is Tom Gally ( gally.net ), who at the time was a professor in the Centre for Global Communication Strategies at the University of Tokyo.
