[Music] Good afternoon. I wonder if they can hear me already. Maybe not. >> Cam. Hello, Josephine. >> Hi. Good afternoon. >> Good afternoon. >> How are you? Do you have lunch >> already? Have you had your lunch? >> I did. I'm not sure for the teachers. They're always very busy, but I hope they did because it's so late already. All right, we can see quite a number of teachers joining in today. Let's wait a little while. We can see if the numbers are going to increase. But I'm also aware that um there's quite a number of teachers uh who will not be able to um join us unfortunately because of um CCAs and the other commitments as well. So, thank you all for taking out your time this afternoon spending your time here with us. Let's wait for a little bit more. Hello. This time name, but I I can't pronounce Tia. Can you try to pronounce the teacher's name? >> Oh, Nor Zah Abdullah Halankan. Am I pronouncing it correctly? >> Hi. Hello, Lisa. Yes. Great, Lisa. Thank you. All right. All right. So, I think teachers. >> Yeah. I think the numbers are a little bit stagnant already. So perhaps we can just get started and then of course along the way if uh teachers join in, of course, they can just join in whenever they are ready. All right. So just a very quick introduction. Uh my name is Josephine. I'm the host for today and I'm also the country manager here in Singapore. All right. And together with me I have Tia. She's actually our customer success manager and she will also be our speaker for today. So once again a very warm welcome to all of you joining our session today on um AI tools in class point. Thank you. And then uh together uh for today you know we will be sharing uh quite a number of different um AI tools that are actually available in class point. Some of you might already be aware some of you might not. All right so you have actually came to the right sess uh session. All right today we will share with all of you what are the different AI tools that are available here in classoint. All right before I get started I would actually like to share with all of you a notion page. All right, where uh we actually uh compile all the different um resources that are going to be used for this particular session. All right, together with the PowerPoint deck, together with the recordings as well. So at any point of time after this session, all right, when you uh whenever you need to look back, you can actually view and click on this uh link. Let me just quickly share the notion link onto our uh zoom chat. All right. So teachers, I've just actually sent the uh notion page uh notion link here. All right. You guys can actually click on it and what you will see will actually be the same as what Tia is sharing her screen right now. All right. At the very beginning, we'll have a very quick agenda run through uh with the introduction, you know, um session agenda and later on towards the end, we will have a very quick uh mini announcement on what's going to be uh upcoming next uh with class point. All right. And then on uh at the bottom you actually see a small resources uh name. All right, that can actually be clicked on and when you click on it you will be able to see the PowerPoint slide that are used that are going to be used for today as well as our recording. All right. So this is where you can get the resources uh after the session whenever you need to look back and learn what has been taught today. All right. So, uh, without further ado, I will now pass the time over to Tia. And of course, along the way, if you guys have any questions, feel free to, uh, to just drop them in the Zoom chat. All right? And then we will just pick it up from there. So, uh, I'll pass the time over to Tia. Thank you. >> Thank you. Thank you so much, Josephine, for such a warm welcome and welcome everyone. Uh, it's really good seeing you online at the edge of our week. I hope the week has been uh treating you nice. Uh I'd like to check uh before we jump into our uh session for today, just would like to have a quick check. Um who are you on your first um webinar with us uh or maybe you are a a uh a regular participants on our webinar. You can uh share on the zoom chat. Uh this is my first time. This is my second time or this is my seventh time. Wow. Amazing. Because uh just like what Josephine shared uh we regularly uh conducting webinar every month to sign up for the bloody can you help me to take use your >> sorry I thought that's a question for me and actually that's a very good example. while you are able to ask any questions uh you have uh please uh later at the end of the uh session we also have a Q&A uh for whoever wants to stay and have uh you know questions that you'd like to discuss with us uh we'd be happy uh to extend our session um and yeah again thank you and welcome welcome once again for you that that are new or you that already uh using classm for a while it's uh been a pleasure uh to accompanying you uh sharing a couple of tips on how to maximize class points usage. Uh first time welcome first timers I lost count already how many times great thank you so I hope that u you can attend our uh future webinars as well. So uh we have regular webinars um every month uh for uh class points. Okay, without further ado, I will be sharing my screen. I already can see that uh one of you actually already asking what's the code number to join. So, I will be uh asking you to please uh join my class. I haven't shared my screen yet. Let me share my screen. Okay. All right. Uh so, please join my class. uh class code is CPAI 101. Uh I'll click on the class code and as you know you are able to click on this URL uh to get a um URL copied and I will paste that to the Zoom chat. Uh so allowing you to join my session. Oh I allow guest I get I did. All right great. Please join my class everyone where we'll have a lot of um fun together and uh to be able to interact and uh send you across some interesting uh questions where you are also able to share uh your insights with others. Thank you everyone uh for joining and if you are watching uh through YouTube as well it's really simple. You can go to classm.app app and then key in the class code is CP AI101 and then you will be able to join the class. All right. So, >> you can also just scan the QR code while it's still up here. >> Yeah, that is so correct. Oh, and while we're waiting uh for you to join, there's CPA AI 101 as well in here. Uh you actually if you click on the QR code uh you can uh make the QR code bigger. So then maybe you want to allow your students to uh scan the QR code so they can join your class faster. Great. Thank you so much. I will be awarding stars to everyone who joined early. Wow. Three stars to everyone. Great. Okay. So, uh actually at uh today's agenda like Josephine um shared earlier, we're going to share uh about all AI tools in class point. Um and uh one of the main feature that uh teachers really like to use is the AI quiz generator, right? Uh I know you you like to use that a lot to help you um producing uh questions. Now before we jump into that first session actually I'd like to uh know from uh your experience teachers um what are the challenges in producing higher order questions so we're using short answer in here feel free uh to sorry let me unmute that uh mute that uh feel free to share uh what are the uh you know daily challenges uh to again producing higher order questions making sure that the questions are generated uh based on the context of uh lesson that you're teaching and also uh are able to support uh students critical thinking and and more. Ah we already have uh some answers coming in time considering the capability of our students. Yep. It takes time to compose uh higher order questions. Time. Okay. Making it contextualized. All right. Not enough database questions. No time. Lack of resources. It's difficult tool and supporting uh my work. Clarity uh time and effort to design. Okay. Thank you. We we hear you. And uh welcome welcome everyone who's just uh joining. We just started. Uh feel free to join our class for today CPAI 101. and uh join the fun. Um the question again is what are the challenges in producing higher order questions? Uh let me go through one by one. Uh no time yes lack of resources. Oh I did uh read that clarity time and effort to design time and effort differing student abilities time. Wow we have a lot of time limited time no data analysis. Okay. Students profile neat mind work. Excellent. Balancing rigor and clarity. Great insights. Oh, sorry. Uh let me just scroll down a bit. Yes. Suitability having options for many responses. Thank you everyone um who shared uh their insights with us. Uh allow me to close the submission. Two minutes. Oh uh last one. Questions must stretch students intellectuality without overwhelming them. finding that sweet spot es especially in diverse classrooms with varying academic backgrounds. Wow. Two stars maybe for Liz. So she took the time and effort to share this insight with us. Thank you everyone uh for sharing uh the answers and your insights. Let me award stars to everyone. So um based on uh the post that we found on Reddit uh we a lot of teachers actually sharing the same exact uh things that you just shared the time restrictions creating scenarios or making it contextualized and phrasing them accurately based on the lesson. Balancing the difficulty and accessibility different levels of your students alignment with learning outcomes as well. uh some of us receive um dynamic changes on curriculum as well yearly sometimes and then controlling the AI uh generated questions. We know that AI platforms are plenty and it's really easy for us to jump and have the help from AI to create uh questions from us uh for us but how how to control it right so this first session we'd like to bring you to a journey uh to get to know uh more um a bit deeper about our AI quiz uh generator in class but firstly Josephine Actually uh let's uh ask the uh participants who already know or who already have been using AI quiz generator uh in their classroom. Maybe uh all of you that already using AI AI quiz in class point you can uh click one on the zoom chat and uh click two if you haven't tried it. Uh so uh or you can you know show any emotica then yes there are some already shared one two two okay two one two one >> all right we have a variety of uh participants here who already experienced about um AI quiz generator in class one >> thank you thank you so much so um AI quiz generator is a part of classasmine's feature. Uh today Classascoin has more than 30 features available and uh I will show you how you are able to utilize uh the AI quiz generator right on your PowerPoint deck. Uh in here I already prepared one slide um about rainforest. No, today we're going to learn a bit about from rainforest. So usually uh and uh you are able to um use the AI quiz generator for any lesson subject that you're teaching. Uh this is just an example out of a science uh lesson. Um usually we are introducing or we're sharing about uh a topic right and we give them an information about the topic that we're sharing in here. This is just just an example uh what is a rainforest? and then a bit of information uh that supports the title. Now, to be able to generate the questions, you just need um like a passage like this example or a keyword uh information uh text based on your slide. So, this is text based. Um if you like to do uh to create your slides on Canva, you can bring it here on your PowerPoint. And to activate the AI quiz generator, what you need to do is just uh go to slideshow. Um so making sure that it's uh presented on the slideshow mode and then right here there's an AI quiz um button. So you can click on that one and then uh this is the uh classify AI. It says I can read your current slide and create some quiz questions with answers provided. You can directly generate a question but previously uh previously we uh discussed about uh what are the challenges in producing higher order questions right now uh before you generate the question you have the ability to set your questions. So click on options. It will bring you to this um setup page where you are able to um determine the question type you want to have. So you have multiple choice. You also have fill in the blanks and short answer as the um uh uh quiz type that you can have. Um so for an example I want to create um uh a v variation but when multiple choice and fill in the blanks. So I will just activate these two and this is where you are able to adjust um how you want the question to be generated based on the bloom's taxonomy levels. That way you are able to control the uh quality and uh making sure that the context and uh the uh you know uh the students >> yeah the questions are are being able to uh be adjusted with the uh the level of students that you're teaching. Not only that uh you also can create the question in different languages as well. uh so across languages uh let's say if your slide is in English and you want to create in a different language uh you're able to do that so for this instance I will just uh select remember and understand and after that you can just click uh outside the box and generate the question so I'll generate the first question uh reading your slide so this is the first question that is being generated uh by classoint AI uh quiz so we can see in here there's a blooms taxonomy level that I chose was understand. Um this is the question, this is the option and you can check the answer and if you like it, you can click save as a slide. As simple as that. Um so uh it actually solve the um the time restrictions that we have as a teacher to prepare such question. Not only one question but you are able to generate multiple uh questions based on that one slide. So let me generate another uh so this uh this is another example of uh multiplechoice question. You can check the answer. If you don't really like this one, you can generate another but you can uh again you can uh generate as many as you want. And this one is fill in the blanks. So uh you can uh prepare this before your lesson or if you want to do a pop quiz and then uh directly do this with your students you are able to do that. I'll save this as a slide and then I will show how it looks like for all the qu questions that being generated. I'll go and exit slideshow. Uh this is how it looks like. Questions that we generated the answer is here and then uh the uh button of class point uh quiz type is multiple choice is also inserted in here. And if you click on the multiplechoice button, it will show you the setup um of this question and you are able to adjust it. Let's say you want to add more options. B um is a an additional option. You are able to uh change the number of choices and then which is the correct answer. Even you are able to turn this into a quiz mode. So then uh you can decide the difficulty level of this question. Let's say um if you decide it an intermediate uh question then um when your students uh uh answer correctly they will be given uh an automatic stars and you will be able to download the um quiz result as well uh based on their answer. So uh this is how uh again easy uh to create the questions to control what goes into your slide. And if you want to uh do this quiz with your student as simple as um go to slideshow and then uh click on the button and then ask your uh students to send in their responses. Uh thank you for sending in uh your answer. Um and let us know if you have any questions. Uh we will be able to um help you uh cover. And um just uh a refresher in all uh class point uh question features you're able to see a live status where you are able to control and see the transparency on how your class is going, who are having uh difficulties or um maybe some issues answering it. Uh so then uh you can uh control the quiz during your lesson. Thank you. I'll close the submission and uh it will uh give the uh automatic stars to those who answer it correctly. All right, congratulations. And also another reminder with multiple choice question uh you are able to check on the quiz summary and you can download the report in Excel sheet. So you will be able to have um uh a report of who's answering uh the uh question correctly and who still needs more attention. Um I will just pause a bit in here to see if we have any questions before I uh continue my explanation about the fill in the blanks uh question type. Uh Josephine, do we have any question? >> Yes, thanks Tia. So we do have a question. And the first one is if I send the PowerPoint will it work or I have to work on my computer only because I downloaded class point there. >> Right. Um some of us we have um two or more devices sometimes that we work with right uh like uh we have a user who oftenly uh use the classroom PC to uh teach and but they prepare all of their lessons at home maybe using a laptop or a PC at home. Uh so you will need to uh install class point on both devices uh your home device and the classroom's device and uh whatever that you prepared at home the PPT um you are able to um maybe save it on a drive and then um at school you can download that drive with all the uh class features available in it and uh in your classroom when you teach you can directly use that and your account you can log in um with multiple devices but not simultaneously. So when you log in with your account in your uh classroom's PC it will log you out from your whole PC. I hope uh that is uh clear. >> Yeah. >> Yep. Yep. Great. Thank you Tia. And then um the next one is how do we generate higher order thinking questions? again. Is there AI prompt for us to prompt the AI to generate the questions? >> Great, great question. Uh maybe I'll go with a different uh slide uh example that I have in here. Um let's do another uh this time let's do a fill in the blanks only. So again, what you need to do is just to prepare a slide with a an information or a passage like this and then um to activate the AI quiz, you can click on AI quiz on the bottom of your toolbar and after that um you can click on options then to create or produce a higher order thinking skill uh you can play around with the Bloom's uh texonomy levels. Let's say um because you want your students to have a tougher uh questions. Yeah, you can uh decide the analyze and evaluate. So then it will create um a lot more uh challenging question and based on that uh we're just going to produce a fill-in- thelank question and then just generate the question. Uh that way the way uh of uh the question itself will be different. So this one starts with analyze instead of understanding uh what the context right so this is how you can control uh to how to create the higher uh order thinking uh skill so it doesn't require any prompt uh but we already incorporated that bloom taxonomy levels if you uh want to try um maybe this one doesn't suit uh with what you need you can just generate another um and uh find the one that oh I think this one is okay. I can uh maybe add more context to it. So you can um save this as a slide and uh you also can check the answer beforehand as well. Now uh I will stop there first before this actually I I will uh explain further about the fill in the blanks. Do we have uh more question? Um just >> yes thanks Tia. Uh another question is can the AI tool read the information from image and generate the questions? >> Great question. So um our class point AI quiz generator only able to scan text based. So if you upload an image so like this one uh this is actually not an image. Uh so this is text based. So uh the AI will be uh scanning through this text based on this. This is uh the knowledge uh that the the AI took to uh generate the questions um based on the knowledge. Yeah, I hope that answer. >> Yeah. And then the next question is is it possible to display the questions in the content slide because sometimes the students will need to refer to the slide to answer the questions. >> Sorry, can you repeat that again Josephine? >> Okay, probably I'll just answer that instead. So the question is is it possible to display the question in the content slide because sometimes the student needs to refer to the slide to answer the question. So the answer is actually um no. Uh once we um insert the questions uh as a slide it actually um creates a new slide like what you can see from Tia screen now. So like earlier on she was on slide >> uh eight. Yep. And then once you insert the question, it actually creates a new slide. But if you prefer to do that, um the another way is to actually uh manually copy the questions and then paste it back to the content or what you can do is when you actually start the activity >> um you can just go back you can minimize um >> the probably yeah I can just start one of the question that you have already inserted onto your slide as well. So this is how you also can do that. So >> yeah so you >> that's a bit >> yeah. >> Oh no because the student wants to answer the question. So you have you have to insert it as a slide first and then you can just close this page once you start the activity. >> Y >> uh you can you can you start the activity tier? >> Yep. >> Yeah. So once you start the activity, this window can be minimized and then from here you can go back to the previous content slide. So the students will be able to see the content slide and they will also be able to work on um the questions that you have uh prepared for them. So I hope that answers the question. >> Y >> thank you Josephine. And yeah this way also you are able to hide the students responses. So then uh they won't be able to >> copy each other's answers. >> Copy each other's answers. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Perfect. Yeah. >> And then there quite a number of questions coming in. Um the another one is can I upload graph? So the answer is no because um like what Tia has mentioned earlier on. Um currently classas point AI only reads text. It doesn't read any images. So um anything out of text based um will not be um readable by um the AI um at this point of time. So yeah, I hope that answers. And the next one is is the generated AI questions unlimited because mine is mine can only generate five questions. >> All right, that's a great question. So in class one, uh let me close the submission. Thank you everyone who already submitted their responses. We'll get back to this responses later on. Um so in class we have three different accesses um or we call it plans. We have basic plan, we have pro plan and we have premium plan. Uh so for basic uh yes yes you have up until five um AI quiz generations um on your plan with pro you are able to produce up until I I think it's around 200 or 500 um quizzes um and then uh for premium uh plan uh you are able to uh generate unlimited amount of uh questions with AI quiz. >> Yeah. All right, great. Thank you. And yeah, that will be all of the questions. Yeah, thank you. >> Thank you, Josephine. So, uh some of you already uh give an answer to the fill in the blanks. So, this is an example of uh fill in the blanks uh question produced by AI quiz. uh not only um allowing students to uh fill one uh answer but this is an example where uh you are able to answer uh with more than one. Now uh when you inserted it as a slide it will be a part of your uh slide presentations and then uh this is an example some of you uh sent ah we know some uh science teachers here already. So there are some uh green ones, there are some red ones. Uh green means correct. Uh red means incorrect. If you want to show the correct answer of uh fill in the blanks, you can just click and then you can see um how many percentage of your participants who answer it correctly. You can click on it and to see who are those participants who answer it correctly. So then you can uh award stars to everyone. But how about if you need the base uh the question base and you want to adjust to the question you're able to do that because the question that is produced uh from AI quiz um is a text base where you can add you can change uh but the button uh with uh fill in the blanks it's already uh inserted with the uh suggested uh suggested uh correct answer uh from the question itself. But you're also able to add uh to that as well. Maybe 78 is not the only answer. Maybe 96 is also the answer. So you also can uh insert um an alternative uh by typing it down on each uh section of the blank and then once uh you type down the uh correct answer and then just click enter then it will give uh some alternative. So those who answer 78 or 96 um will uh be uh correct as well considered as incorrect. So that's how you can do with uh fill in the blanks. Uh another example uh this is how it looks like. Maybe as a teacher I don't want to uh you know show this to my students. You are able to just delete this and add more uh maybe not humidity but uh evaporation. I'm just making this up, but yeah, it gives more room for your students to be able to give um answers accordingly. So, that's uh fill in the blanks. Um I hope that uh this simple ideas uh will give you enough fuel to to test out uh some of the AI quiz. Um the next thing that uh we want to share with you um uh teachers actually still with AI quiz but a different type which is uh the short answer one. So with short answer it's quite unique because uh there's an additional function um that is supportive supported by AI as well. For this example I will be using a new slide. Uh so let's do ancient row. So uh it goes the same thing. So you can just uh yeah put it live on uh slideshow mode and then you can click on the AI quiz. Uh oops sorry clicking the wrong one and then click on options and uh just choose a short answer for this one. All right I will just do remember all right and I will need your participation please please answer uh send your answer. I will just generate one question uh using uh okay what were the geographical features of ancient Rome and how did they contribute to its expansion? I will save this as a slide. Uh I will not show the correct answer. Please uh you know answer this uh question and I will be closing the responses. So this is another example if you want to have a you know spontaneous uh quiz um and you can just generate the question based on the slide that you're using in your classroom and then use that question right away to check the uh understanding of your students and collect uh the responses. This way it saves a lot of time and it's uh very efficient um just to do a quick uh check on your students whether they understand as well or not. Uh okay so we already have some answers coming in and uh maybe you're also asking if you are able to control the um time submission uh you are able to adjust that as well. uh after this I will be sharing with you how uh you are able to limit uh the time submission for your students to do the quiz. Well, I I guess it's pretty tough uh question. >> Maybe you can go back to the first slide to see if there's any clue that we they can get it from. >> Sure. >> Okay. Teachers, maybe you guys can copy something from the slide. Yes. >> Okay. So, I'll wait for a few more minutes. Ah, we have six already coming in. >> Open open book test. >> Open book test. Yeah. >> Okay. Okay. And while waiting uh you you know you can emphasize your students to uh do the same like what just said you know open your your book open your uh you know discuss with your friends or maybe you have a group activity uh you want to check their understanding about uh the lesson that you just um shared with them. So you can also do that. Okay. So I will close my answer board in a couple of more seconds allowing you to share more insights. Oh, this is like a pop quiz. Yeah, a test. >> Everybody appreciates the open book test. >> Perfect. Okay. All right. So, thank you to those 15 uh people who already shared their responses. I'll close the submission. Thank you everyone. Wow. Okay. Great. So, we have a variety of answers in here already. Uh some are answering in a quite lengthy um answer. Some are very straightforward. Now imagine if you have you know 40 students in your classroom 20 30 and then you'd like to um analyze um the uh responses that you collected as soon as I close the submission um I will have this AI insights appeared on uh my short answer board. So this AI insights only available in short answer uh where you can access and you can have the insights or summary um given by the AI. So let's click on that one and check the summary that AI has of the responses that I collected. So in here we can see hello Tia here's a summary of the student responses collected in the short answer activity. Uh multiple mentions of flat f vertile land and hills and uh some others as well. not only giving you the summary but you are also able to interact further with the AI. So let's say I want to know who are uh can you group uh the uh students based on their answer right and then the AI will be able to group uh people for me so group one group two group three group four cool kid I don't know the answer the question okay so this is um this is also uh quite helpful if you want to decide Right? Who are uh among your students who require further attentions if you want to group them based on uh below above uh on the level of the differentiated um levels in your classroom and uh not only that so you can decide um you know different materials uh or follow up to those that require more attentions and uh not only that you also can um ask uh what is the top answers as well. So then you don't have to go through one by one. Uh so this is uh how it looks like. So you can uh you know continuously interact with the AI. Uh so then you can brainstorm together with the AI based on the uh answers that you collected. Um I will uh have a pause a bit in here uh to see if you have any questions about the um short answer AI insight that we have in class. >> Thank you Tia. There's actually uh one question uh if the student actually submits a wrong answer for short answer and they like to um edit the answer um how can it be done? >> Okay, that's a great question actually. Um you are able to delete your students answer while uh the activity is still ongoing before you close the submission and then um it gives them uh a chance for them to edit their answer and resubmit. Um let's do that. I will uh just uh let me just copy this one. Uh so then I can share with you um how you can actually do that during the activity. So you will need to make sure that the activity is still ongoing uh because let's say uh this one I already collected the uh responses right. If I delete this then I won't get uh the answer back uh because the uh submission is already closed. So you will need to do this uh while the activity is still ongoing. Uh could you please uh try to uh send something maybe then I uh will share uh how it looks like to delete and you can resubmit uh with the new answer. Ah 1% responded. Okay thank you cool kid. Let me uh delete uh the answer and then uh Coolkit will have another chance uh to actually revise the answer and then send back in uh the new answer. Let's see what Coolkit has. I also can delete this one. So if I delete uh this answer uh resources and accessibility um ll will get the answer back on his screen or her screen and then we'll be able to edit or revise and send that uh back in. Okay. Uh so yep thank you. So this is how it looks like. Yes, I had another chance to edit my submitted answer remaining the same. Good. Great. Thank you. Quit delete mine too. Okay. Okay. How do they teach us? >> Wow. Okay. Thank you, Melody. That's a really nice answer. Great. Everyone, I don't know. Can you give me another chance? Sure. >> Everybody wants a second chance. >> Everyone wants a second chance. >> So yeah, you can practice this in your uh classroom. So uh again, it uh provides more chance for your student uh to uh revise their um answer. All right. I I will just be waiting for Jean to send back uh Enzy send back his answer. >> Yeah. But anyway, since we are waiting for the teachers to send back their submission actually have another question being submitted for you. I don't know. Can you give me another chance? I think he's just going to keep on asking for another chance. >> This was Jin actually. >> Yes, I know, right? All right. So anyway uh the question is does AI can AI does AI able to identify students who have provided the appropriate slashcorrect answer when the teacher ask >> so appropriate answer when the teacher asks so through the short answer responses is it >> I would believe so yes >> yeah yeah yeah so um it's for you to decide. Remember um earlier we shared about how as a teacher we can control uh the AI produced qu uh questions right and you are the one who do the quality control whether the the answer is correct or wrong um and you can cross check it. So this um tool is actually um helping you all to brainstorm what kind of uh questions uh that is qualified to be included in your lesson. So uh again this is uh something that we require nowadays with many um different AI tools available but you are actually the one who uh control uh the answer and uh which one that uh supposed to go uh in your lessons. I hope that clarifies a bit. Yeah. And also just to add on um for um the AI insights that are available in short answer, it might not really be a um marking tool that you want to use it as um mainly because um it actually only reads the received um responses. It doesn't really know what is the question that um the teacher gave out. So, um I wouldn't say that you would want to rely on um to use it as a marking tool, but it can actually use it to help you save a little bit of time, you know, especially when the answers are all really long. You know, you can actually quickly get all these um summary out. You can um get a very quick um insight, you know, on how the students are doing. So, like what Tia mentioned, you are still going to be the one um to identify if those answers are correct or wrong. Yeah. So, we hope that answers your question. >> Thank you. That's great. >> Hello from Morocco. Hi. Welcome. >> Hello. Hello. Welcome. Uh and I'll show you when the AI will show up just right after you close the submission. There you go. So, there's the AI insight and this is um how you are able to interact with the AI. um after you uh collected the responses. Okay, so that's about the short answer um and fill in the blanks and uh multiple choice questions that you can produce uh using the AI quiz generator. Um we actually would like to move a bit uh from our PowerPoint and and share with you um the other side of class which is the class uh web app. So we will uh bring you to a journey where you are able to uh check three different things in class by web app. Um you are able to do an afterclass short answer AI insights. Um also AI summaries on class activities and also downloadable reports available on your classoint web app. Many of our uh teachers actually don't realize that uh they uh can actually have all of this um within the uh class uh features. So there are um two ways for you to be able to access this. Uh you can access it uh when you're opening your PPT and um the inkno plus menu. Uh it's right here. So you can click on reports. Once you click there, it will uh direct you uh to the dashboard of your class point or the other thing is you are able to uh open the website uh and then log in with your class point uh account and then uh you'll be redirect redirected here before uh without uh clicking uh from your PowerPoint. So you can access it in your mobile in any kind of devices. Um again without having to access it through the PowerPoint desktop. Um now I want to share a couple of things uh with you in here. Um so this is your dashboard space. You are able to manage your classes, create uh you know um add stars, deduct stars in here. Uh but more importantly, I'd like to uh bring you to the reports section. I've already prepared here. This is an example of a report you will be receiving. Um so an AI summary um report will be sent out to your email every time you finished an activity with class point. Um and then you will have a recap of uh your activities. Uh and then this is an example on the AI summary itself. It will have the same content um of your uh the summary that will be sent to your email. Um it will have like uh the insights of what happened in that class. Uh like what you can see in here. Um it has the uh class code and then how many stars you awarded uh during that um period. how many activities responses you received even the top layer as well. And this AI summary will uh again give you a glimpse of uh what can be improved and uh what actually good to be maintained um on your next class with class point. Not only that you will have all the activities that you did within your class point um saved in here uh also with the responses. So this is let's say an example uh of the slide that I used during this uh class. If I open it, this is my class and uh this is my slide and then this is the responses I received. If I click um one of the responses, I will also see who oh I have Z in here as well. Uh the who are the participants who uh shared that answer. This way um you're you don't have to be afraid that the responses will go uh lost because it's all saved both places uh in cloud and also when you save your PowerPoint uh slides with the responses here and if you scroll down a bit um there are some reports that can be downloaded into Excel um sheet format an example if you have a multiplechoice questions uh with a quiz mode um activated. You can have the quiz summary. Uh you can see in here the participants uh the answer uh this is only one question but let's say if you have you know 10 five multiple questions uh you are able to see um the result in here and download an excel report as well as the class leaderboard as well. So um it mentioned earlier on the AI summary right uh that uh I awarded a couple of stars to a couple of uh players and who's the top players and if you want to download this on an Excel sheet you can just scroll down to the bottom uh let me just zoom in a bit uh you can download leaderboard and uh it will be available in Excel sheet so that's uh really simple on how you are able to um analyze uh your uh class after the class is dismissed. And again, how uh you can access this uh pass activities, you need to go to your uh dashboard and then click on reports and select which activities uh that you want to um uh analyze further and also uh you can check all the responses that are saved there. So uh before I share one last bit on uh the uh activity that you can do in the web app, do we have any questions maybe Josephine? >> Uh no there's no question so far. >> Okay, great. Okay, thank you. So um lastly that I want to share with you actually um previously we did the AI insights um inside the uh PPT right when you just collected the responses and then the AI insight button will appear um don't forget don't don't be afraid uh you know oh I need to have some insights about the responses that I collected I need to open my PPT because you actually can do that on the web app so uh you also can um access it uh with your mobile as as well. So, um you can just go uh inside the class activity and select uh let's say the example in here. I have couple of different activities and then select which one that has short answer. Um so, uh you are able to activate the AI insight in here as well, not only on PPT. So how to um access that actually you uh after you select that you have this this three uh button right I will just zoom in a bit. >> Yeah three dot menu >> three dot menu click on that. Oh sorry let me just go back. All right. Um click on that and then uh you can have this uh ask class point AI. So this has the same function as the AI insight on the PPT uh where in here you're able to interact with the AI and then um if you require the uh recap of the summary you can uh copy paste it as well. Um so then you can have a record of that. Um and not only that, another way for you uh to scroll down the all the short answer activities um within the class one activities that you had, you can click on the activity site and then um on the activity type you can click uh and select short answer. Then it will just give you um the list of uh short answer activities that you have with class point. And uh it goes the same if you click on that and then just click on three dot menus and then ask classify AI. Okay. So yep that actually uh the uh couple of things that uh we want to share uh about all the uh AI tools in class. We talk about AI quiz generator AI insights. Uh also on the web app you have the uh AI summary downloadable reports and after class short answer AI insight as well. We actually would like to have a an announcement to make uh Josephine as uh what we shared earlier. Uh so everyone um we will have it's it's going to be available soon class 3. So where uh class 3 you are able to access uh class.3 on a couple of different across different uh platforms. Uh so if you have your friends using Mac device or uh uh Chromebook device uh iPad as well, it's finally going to be available on a couple of different platforms. We want to hear from you. So uh uh congratulations, you're the first who are uh sharing your insight with us. We want to hear what features or functions you wish to have in class 3. So we'll be using short answer in here. Uh for you that uh haven't joined our class uh feel free to uh join and share your insights. I will be sharing the zoom chat. Uh sorry the link on the zoom chat. Yep. Uh and share your insight here. So what features or functions you wish to have in class.3? Um so you can share and then uh we will be able to review that and escalate that with our tech team and uh yeah something that is >> so it's um for this particular submission has actually turned on allowing multiple submissions so you can just throw in all your wish lists for us um and it's currently not available yet it will be available soon. All right. So, uh you can just throw in your wish list first. We are we will definitely um bring it back to the team. You know, we'll see what can be fulfilled. It's like a throw in your your wish list into into the tank and then hope that it gets caught up. >> Yeah. Yeah. While we are waiting for the teachers to send in their wish list to the genie, uh there's a question, Tia. Um can AI an analyze images like ray diagrams when the students upload their submissions of the image given a model answer of the ray diagram for example. >> Okay thank you Josephine. Um the answer is no. Um uh the AI actually only can read based on text uh based uh and not an image. But if this is something that you wish class 3 has throw in uh on the short answer activity as well. >> Yeah. >> Uh so yeah you you know go uh beyond your imagination and I wish that uh class wine has this. So yeah please share with us. >> Yeah and also apart from the AI quiz generator the AI insights is currently also only available in short answer. So it is not available in the other um quiz activity features as well like for example in this um question like you know it it is not available in images um submissions as well so unfortunately you will not be able to um analyze it. Yeah. And then uh another question is class.3 free for all I would say um the installer yes um the accountwise we do like as always um in class point we do have uh it's actually a premium um application I would say so we do have the free version we will also be having the paid version um so I would say yes really depending on um on how much and you know how how you are going to be using class boy in your classes. you know if you think that the free version would be sufficient already of course you can uh continue using class boy on the free version but if you find that you know um it's is getting insufficient for example the um class lines you are having is a little bit larger or you know you need a little bit more um AI quiz credits for example because you want to uh generate more AI questions you know using the AI quiz generator the free version might be having a little bit more limitations then um that is where you might want to hop on onto the pit version. All right, so that is it. Uh we do not have any questions for now. Perhaps you can start to review what are their wish lists for class point. >> Okay, let me uh let us uh go through it. Make it available on tablet mode, please. It's hard to always bring my laptop in classes. The rooms are too far from each other. We hear you, Carlo. Thank you for sharing. It will nice if AI could generate questions from graphs and pictures like picture analysis. Got it, Agnes. Thanks. Examination. Oh, all right. To the exam. Great. Thanks, Maru >> Jean. Allowing AI to read pictures. Ah, okay. Okay. Now, yeah, if I close the submission and AI will give me a summary, uh, it will give me top answers are allowing AI to read pictures. Okay. AI to analyze images like like right diagrams. Great. Okay. Another example is math constructions like like perpendicular but by a sector. Great Fiona. Thanks. That's a great insight. Drag and drop mix and match multiple questions in a slide as well as multiple format of questions such as drawing and fill in the blanks. We can already have that actually but mix and match >> slide. Oh >> yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah. In one slide you can have couple of things. Great student to student feedback mode. Oh great marking scheme for a short essay. Okay. >> Thanks Jason. Uh group work features. >> Give more examples. See uh maybe you can uh give more examples of uh features that for group activities that you like to do. >> Uh dragable feature for students instead of only teacher. Okay. Icons and emoji voting. >> Actually I emojis emojis are already supported now. Uh not only text yeah for the submissions. So, you can actually already get your students to like throw in some emojis, icons like, "How are you feeling today?" And then, you know, they can put like a smiley face or like the one with the zz. That would be me when I was a student. >> Yeah. Oops. Sorry. Ah, l AI audio generated in Mandarin and also translated into English. English AI image reader can generate questions of different order thinking and suggested answers. Wow, >> the insights are great. Mood checkins. Wow, this one uh Josephine already shared >> let educators uniquely design and deploys digital stickers >> AI to read images. Got it. I feedback. Feedback for audio input. Convert audio into words and then analyze the answers. >> Wow. >> Okay. Excellent. Having inside functions for images. All right. So, >> must be our math and science teachers here. They are all looking forward to the images. >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> Question option. Are they available? Ah, okay. We we take this as your uh wish list. Uh see you. Thanks. Be able to read im images as a presenter. Support class point iPad to have report for call feature. >> Got it. >> Okay. >> Excellent. The eye picture capturing functions analyzing photos videos. Okay. Great. >> Yeah. >> Great. Interactive quizzes and polls annotation tools. >> The page generator is more appealing to younger kids. The page generated is more appealing to younger kids. Okay. >> Is this a is this a comment or is this a statement a wish list? Yeah. >> Question type expansion at algebraic math input labeling diagrams. Oh, okay. >> Wow. >> Right. Assessment feedback. Excellent. >> Badges team competition badges. We already have badges now. Teacher. >> Yeah. >> For our game. Maybe I can show how. Right. So, some of you are on level one badge, level two badge, right? Let me award many stars to all of us. And wow, look at that. Your badges are changing. So, uh the badges are available. Uh maybe can share uh after this how you can set that up. And as promised, uh I also can share how you can uh limit the time submission on your quiz. Um, and let me just read the last one will be marking of answers. Indra, thank you. Make it in Padlet mode. Allow comments and feedback. Okay, we've heard about this before. Yes, group students in the class. Students can work on a question together as a group. Excellent. Thank you everyone. Let me close the submissions and awarding stars to everyone. Um yeah uh the gamification badges actually you are able to adjust that um how to do that uh you can go to settings right um the gamification uh menu is here uh these are the couple of different veges uh that you can play around with you can edit the levels you can add you know more stars you need to collect more stars to be able to unlock the next badge and you can uh allow maybe only five levels or seven levels. So uh this uh will give you know spark competition in your uh classroom and uh as promised how you can uh do an uh limitations on your quiz. You can click on this auto close submission uh so then after you know maybe 30 seconds or a minute uh without having to control the quiz button it will close automatically. So that way you can control um how the quiz is going with your students. Yep. Um yeah, Jasmine. So that's actually the end of uh my presentation today. Uh I'll give the floor back uh to you. Thank you. >> Before you give the floor back to me. Oh yeah, >> I will I will have the floor with you first. >> There's still a little bit more questions uh like uh two more I think. So um probably we can just go ahead with the Q&A first before we >> yeah just uh before we we uh do some closing and stuff for the session. The first one is how we can actually continue to add on submissions for one question posted. So I think this is the one where teachers can do the settings on the short answer activity button. So when you click on it the right side panel comes up. you can select or rather check um the first option of allowing multiple submissions so that when the students um receive the question from you you can uh uh not sorry not you can they can um submit multiple submissions up to three times. >> All right so I hope that answers your question. Another one, I think this is a comment more on the wish list. Group work features where teachers can assign slides to specific groups and responses are tagged by the group names. >> Wow. Okay. Yeah. >> All right. Thank you for the example. >> Another thing, sorry, not another thing, another question. My goodness. Uh, can we select just some students to award stars instead of awarding to all? >> Okay. Yep. Yep. So, let me uh show how to do that. So, uh you can put up your uh slideshow and then you can click on the class code and you can decide which student uh to get that start. Let's say I want to give more to Jean. You can um edit one by one. Also, you can deduct it as well. Oh, I'm not sharing my uh computer sound. Is that it? Okay. Yeah. >> All right. Or you can or if you want to give to several students, you can filter by their name. Let's say you want to there's no Joe in here. Okay, I have Jeff, Jason, Jeffrey, J. So, you can uh filter uh using the filter function in here and uh you can uh award stars to those filtered ones. I hope that answers. >> Yep. Yep. And also perhaps just to add on uh if let's say you are looking to um award stars to students based on the activities as well as their submissions um you can also click on to the button uh when you are seeing their responses instead of clicking the award stars to all um in each students you can see like most of them are already with the stars but yes that is how you can um award stars individually um to the students. But just by clicking onto the star that is tagged to their names. Uh again uh one click it's one star. So uh depends on how many stars you like to award to the students you know. Let's say you deem that this particular question is a two star um question you know and then you can just um click two times to award two stars to the particular students from there. Yep. So thank you Tia. Uh one more to the wish list please. able to move the class code to another part of the slide instead of always on the top right corner. >> Okay, >> we will add it in for you. >> Thank you. >> All right. And question is, >> will it be possible to integrate an equation editor for for example like physics, chem, and math into class point? At the moment uh we don't have that function yet but uh this is a great insight. Uh we're going to uh review it with our tech team. Hopefully this is something that we can incorporate in the future and classify three. >> Yeah. And then another wish list add-on is to award stars to multiple students at a goal. Oh okay. Uh multiple students but not uh awarding stars to all I guess. >> Ah yeah. All right. So you can yeah you can do the same. So uh you can filter the students name in here uh on your class code or maybe uh you want to award them based on the answers that they have. You also can do that as well. So let's say uh I will choose the one uh that we had before. Uh okay this one right? So an example you want to uh award stars to everyone who is answering particular answer. Maybe Rome is part of their answer. So those that answer Rome uh you can award uh only those uh that has uh Rome in their answers or you can also uh filter by their name. So let's say you have uh you want to start uh award star to Nicole uh to uh Jeff, right? Oh, you can do that. Oh, you can go to Nicole first. Yeah. To find Nicole and then award uh that to Nicole and then uh Jeff as well. Oh, we don't have Jeff. That's why I cannot find a team. So yeah, uh that's a couple of ways that you can award to your students. >> All right. Thank you. Uh and lastly, can you show how to present short answer one at a time as how you present just now? >> Okay. present the answer that collect that were collected or to start a maybe to start an activity. Okay. So um if you um uh want to get a short answer question of using the AI quiz, what you can do prepare this uh one slide with a text based of information and then you can go to slideshow mode and then uh click on the AI uh quiz, right? And if you only want to have short answer, you click on options and just select an a short answer. If you want only fill in the blanks then uncclick the short answer and only uh produce uh question type uh with fill in the blanks. So if we only want uh to have short answer I'll do this and then uh I'll generate the question then it will only going to give you short answer um type um if you generate another also uh going to show you short answer only. I hope that answer >> uh no uh I just want to clarify because just now you collated all the answers already right then you present you present uh the answers the answers one by one in the slides how do you do it yeah >> okay that's a great question thank you so much so uh what you can do is uh when you have that collected so you can click on uh the answer itself so click here uh and then uh if you want to go through to the answer one by one then this is how you can navigate the answers. Um does this answer your question? >> Yes, thank you. Got it. >> My pleasure. >> Yes, thank you. And a bonus uh a bonus tip actually if you want to um have the answers uh that were collected in here. Um if you want to insert that on your slides you can do that by uh clicking view responses on the uh one that you have collected and then you can click insert a slide. So you can notice in here we will have uh more slides um uh gen not generated inserted. Ah there you go. So the answers that you collected uh will be uh available in here in a table. So then when you want to do you know a review a quick review with your students and then uh you want to uh share about um this one and uh discuss it further with your classroom you are able to do that. Uh I hope that gives uh a bonus uh tip to you. >> Thank you. >> Great. Thank you Tia. So I think uh we don't have any other questions anymore. Uh we are done with the questions but of course if you still have any questions um feel free to submit in. All right. Uh we still have a little bit more time so don't worry about that. But uh with that uh thank you Tia definitely for uh doing up this um sharing with us you know with all the different insights um examples. Um teachers before you leave. All right let me share my screen. I would love to share with all of you. So, going back to the uh notion page, all right, that was being shared earlier. Let me probably just share the link once again. Um just in case any of you actually missed it. All right, so this is the um notion link. All right, you guys can click on it and over here we have this um survey form. All right. And uh when you click onto the survey form uh I am inviting all of you to help us to fill this up. All right. It's just a very quick uh questions. You know the first one is how do you rate us today and uh in which areas you think we could improve and what you would like to and what you would like to um hear from us in the next um session. All right. And lastly, I know that uh uh quite a number of you are interested in the uh upcoming class 3 already. All right. So, uh we are actually opening up the uh weight list here for all of you to just drop in your email address so that once it is ready, we will reach out to you. All right. So, it's just a very quick one. All right. Uh help us to fill it up. Uh also just uh please remember to put in a valid email address so that we can reach you. Okay. So, uh while you guys are uh filling this up, all right, I would also like to take this time to thank uh all of you once again for taking out your time uh this Friday afternoon, all right, to be with us. Uh we all know how busy you guys are always as a teacher. There's really really million different things to do. Uh you know, it's always uh not enough time to complete them. we have to rush and you know and then it's TGI if all right we are uh welcoming our uh weekend soon all right so uh thank you all so much for being here with us and um perhaps you guys can let me know uh in the zoom chat you guys can drop one if you have already submitted the um survey form before I continue on what I would like to share with all of you Next. All right, let me just wait for a little bit. Once you guys are ready and done with the survey form, y'all can just put in one. Okay. Yes, thank you. Submitted. Yes, submitted. Thank you so much. One. One. Okay. Great. One. One. Great. Okay. I can see quite a number of you are ready to not hold you guys back. All right. The next thing or next news I would like to uh announce on is actually our um next session next webinar it is going to be on um at cafe is a uh another product uh that is by us as well apart from class point we have at cafe so uh in our next week session uh next Friday same time at 3 p.m. we will be talking about um at cafe um uh oral practice chatbot for language learners. So I'm not sure uh what are the languages uh profile we have for our today's audience. All right. But if you are the language teachers, you would like to find out how you can be using um oral uh chatboard for the oral practices for your students. Feel free to join us. All right. This is the registration link. You can click on it and you can register yourself. And uh as always, we will always be having the um recording for the session. So if you're interested but you are not available you can still um register so that uh after the session we will be able to share with you the uh notion page and then you'll be able to get the resources the recordings uh and you can watch them and catch up from there. All right. And then um lastly for those teachers uh whom you are interested to you know introduce class point to your department or to your school you like us to do a um demo or um organize any workshop uh feel free to reach out to us. All right you can write in to us from this link. Again all of these links are clickable. So everything is in this notion page. All right you can just reach out to us. we will be able to then um reach out to you, organize the session and we will be able to take it from there. All right. So, uh that will be all I would like to share with everybody. Uh just a final check. Uh anybody have any other questions for myself or Tia? The awkward silence starts now. All right. So I guess uh we had covered all the different uh questions that were being submitted today along the way and of course earlier on. Um I hope you guys uh have benefited from today's um session especially for those of you who are new you know like at the very beginning t actually uh do a very quick one two one two right you know like uh who are the ones who are new to um class point you know who are the ones who have been using so especially for um the teachers who are new with us I hope you have benefited um all these are really very quick and easy to pick up, you know. Uh don't overthink too much. It is really um very quick to uh to use. So just uh go give it a try. All right. Uh as long as you start using it, you will definitely get the hang of it. All right. So thank you all so much. Uh have a great weekends ahead and we look forward to seeing you in our next episode. All right. Take care. >> Take care and thank you for coming everyone. contact. Thank you. >> Yes. So, yeah, please do reach out to me uh with regards to your technical issue. I'm waiting for you. Okay. >> Yeah. All right. Thank you. >> Thanks everyone. Have a great weekend. Bye. >> Thank you. Okay. See you.
