so my name is Ajay I'm a senior manager at uh Amazon web services I work for the database Group which is responsible for building the relational databases in the past uh couple of years we've been working on a newer initiative to build a new distributed SQL offering for Amazon web services I've been attending this boot camp for the last 5 days and uh it's been very rewarding and uh very revealing in terms of uh my favorite speaker I would say Z of vv8 uh was very interesting to me primarily because I come from a database background as well and uh you know he talked about indexing Technologies and knowledge crafts and ontologies and how they are built and uh it was super interesting to me uh how uh rag applications could be utilized to build smart agents and smart applications I think the boot camp is tailored to be intelligible for a wide variety of audience I think there is uh something for everybody even if you're not a developer in general I would say that you don't need a lot of machine learning background to attend this particular boot camp uh so I would say that 5day format was good but uh the very fact that you know we would have access to additional resources and newer things that will come up later that I would value as well because I'm sure that that'll be required in the next 1 to 2 years till the technology matures I think the overall package is well crafted so from the logistics and format perspective it's pretty good there is this online site which gives you access to all the lectures and resources and notebooks all the sessions are recorded So basically from the logistics perspective I have everything that I need even if I like I missed a session yesterday and I'm sure that I would be able to go back take a look at the recording take a look at the slides and uh you know be able to catch up whatever I missed I also like the fact that there are you know students in the classroom coming into the class forces you to pay attention right uh and do things in the right way so that was my motivation as well to actually come in otherwise you know you do have resources available zillions of them online if you want to do it you can go to YouTube and there'll be like thousands of hours of videos and everything but it's more about the dedicated focus and and the learning environment which I like I would recommend this to uh everybody I think you know being a data science Dojo lumni I did the data science uh boot camp five or 6 years ago I do every now and then go back and refer to the nodes and whatnot uh that was discussed then and it's great to have access to all those materials and sort of uh would recommended to people to sort of uh you know get engaged and attend the boot camp
