so my name is uh Tariq hook um I'm a software developer Cloud software developer been doing that for 20 plus years at this point um also teach at the Collegiate level uh data structures and software engineering I decided to come to this boot camp because software development as a whole and the industry is changing especially with the Advent of every of all these new um llms that are coming out every day and just where technology needs to go so this uh we heard about the uh data science Dojo from uh someone that is trusted that went through the boot camp and we immediately signed up because we trusted that person's opinion and I have to say that that person's opinion was dead on the money it was from industry experts like people who are currently working right now on products that are being consumed uh every day coming in talking about their products talking about the challenges that they have while they're building their products and how it applies to the industry as a whole their individual products and then the people who are going to be consuming not only products but the technologies that their products are built on which I found to be extremely valuable so one thing I loved about the boot camp is that they find a way and a good balance of really talking about the theory of how what these systems are built on but also showing you the Practical applications of it um I can learn from other people's mistakes and um I think that's one of the things I like the best about this boot camp I enjoyed all the sessions and I took away something from it bernes session was probably one of my most favorite primarily because it's just how do you make sure that the data that you're or the the stuff that you're building is going to continues to work um over time if you are a software engineer that's been working for a while if you're fresh out of college if you're trying to transition from any other portion of tech I definitely recommend this boot camp so you may be asking yourself a question uh boot camp in 5 days is that's enough and the answer is yes the boot camp is to get you started right like it's not there to be the end all be all you're not getting your degree from here what you're going to do is you're going to come here and you're going to fine-tune yourself so that you're walking in the right direction so the overall experience I think is very well balance from how the speakers are set up and how they come in all the speakers were well prepared they were able to go off topic on the things in the areas that they were talking about that people were really interested in and they were able to go deep into those things even the students that showed up they were well prepared and the conversations that you just have with the people that are attending online or even the people that are attending in person were just as valuable as any other aspect of it um I really want to just tip my hat if I had a hat on uh to the data science Dojo people [Music]
