**You think you’re learning. You’re actually avoiding your life.**

_There’s a very subtle way to avoid life.

It even looks like effort._

For a long time, I thought I was learning.

I read books.

I highlighted.

I took notes.

I reflected while reading.

Sometimes I even felt proud, telling myself I would come back to these books someday. Everything looked productive. But looking back now, it was just another way of passing time.
