There is a chain that wants 200 locations by 2030. It currently has 40. The math sounds ambitious. The money disagrees.

Last year it closed a funding round that brought in institutional investors alongside its existing private equity backer who had enough conviction to reinvest their own money back in. Goldman Sachs advised the deal. That is not a detail that shows up for brands people aren’t serious about.
